PRODUCT ASSESSMENT DESIGN

Area: Science

Level: Grade III

Topic: Parts of the Body Competencies:
a. identify the different parts of the body and describe each functions;
b. express their own ideas if one body part is missing;
c. appreciate the importance of each part of the body;
d. come up with their very own unique and creative drawing.

Intended Product Unique and Creative Drawing- The pupils will have to come up with their very own unique and creative drawing of the different parts of the body, describe each functions and importance.

Materials Bond paper, pencil, coloring materials

Guidelines for Administration The pupils will asked to prepare their materials on their desks. They will come up with their very own unique and creative drawing of the parts of the body. Their expected output should contain descriptions of each parts. They will also express their own ideas in a sentence/s if one body part is missing. They will use their creative ideas and colorful materials to come up with a good output. Their output will be assessed using the attached rubrics.

Instructions for the Students:
1. Prepare your materials on your desks.
2. Come up with your very own unique and creative drawing of the parts of the body.
3. Identify each parts and describe each functions.
4. Express your own ideas in a sentence/s if one body part is missing.
5. Use your creative ideas and your colorful materials to come up with a good output.
