Walker was aggressive and pushed the officer, consequently leading to PC Adams arresting Walker for a public order offence. Today was the day of the Dred Scott case. I was very nervous for what would happen. I’m from Illinois which is known as a free state. And I traveled to Missouri to get the insider about the Dred Scott case. I believed slavery was morally wrong and want it to end more than anything. So I’m completely on Dred Scott’s side. When I arrived at the St. Louis’ Old Courthouse I became more nervous. There was a very low chance that Dred Scott would win this case considering it was packed with strangers who believed slavery was the right thing to do. Once the court began Dred Scott made the first statement stating, “I have spent nearly my whole life as a slave. My time of traveling to different locations sure does give me the right to emancipate. The case student for this project will be Derrick Shepherd. Derrick’s diagnosis is Down syndrome. Derrick is in 4th grade, 10 years old, and has an IQ of 39. Derrick can say approximately 25 words, all which are hard to understand unless you are familiar with his language. He has hypotonia and fine motor difficulties, so he has a hard time manipulating small objects and holding onto pencils, pens, and other similar objects. Because of his fine motor difficulties, his writing is slow and hard to read. As far as academic knowledge, Derrick can read a small amount of names and words and he knows numbers one through ten. Due to the fine motor difficulties and lower academic knowledge, Derrick could show significant improvements by using assistive technology. Derrick could be able to utilize technology similar to iPad software or computer programs to assist dysgraphia. This could help him be able to more legibly complete assignments and learn new material without having to hold or pick through small objects like pencils and paper. The AT would need to improve Derrick`s independence, self-sufficiency, personal choice, participation, inclusion, and dignity (Dell, 2008). Assistive technology is defined as “Any item, piece of equipment, or product system, whether acquired commercially off the shelf, modified, or customized, that is used to increase, maintain, or improve functional…

First I would begin by incorporating the star topology with an extended topology. I would do this because I can upgrade the network by replacing the problem components such as the 10mbs Ethernet hubs and the existing cables. I would replace the hub with a gigabit switch and add gigabit wireless router for the five computers to connect to the network. I would replace the 10 computer network interface cards with a 10/100/1000 Mbps NIC and replace the old cable with cat6 Ethernet cables and the five additional computer with wireless cards to negate the wiring problem. Finally, I would add a server for security and allow access for authorize users. I think all these components should help with the lag in the system when transferring large files and solve the bandwidth problems. And the five computers with seamlessly fit into the network without any additional cables.…
