Abstract:
The development, strength, economy and progress depends on the status of the Defence, This paper deals with various generations of computer where the fifth generation computers use Artificial Intelligence. A few applications of Artificial Intelligence used in various technologies have also been discussed. The main focus of paper is on chaser missiles, which implements the missile technology using Artificial Intelligence. The Anupama processor designed in India can be used in chasers. This shows the development of Artificial Intelligence in Indian defence systems. The On-Board Computer department of RCI and ASL of DRDO are working on similar missile technology mostly on the guidance systems for Agni, Trishul, Akash and NAG along with which even the Chaser using the AI technology may replace the existing guidance system of the missiles.

1.Introduction:
Artificial Intelligence is a branch of Science that deals with helping machines finding solutions to complex problems in a more human-like fashion. It is intelligence exhibited by any manufactured system, which is often used in works of science fiction. The term is often applied to general-purpose computers and also in the field of scientific investigation into the theory and practical application. This generally involves borrowing characteristics from human intelligence, and applying them as algorithms in a computer friendly way. For more complex problems, things get more difficult. Unlike humans, computers have trouble understanding in specific situations and adapting to new situations. Artificial Intelligence aims to improve machine behavior in tackling such complex tasks. A more or less flexible or efficient approach can be

At the vanguard of computer technology is the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and the creation of living computer circuitry called "biochips." The development of "AI" requires the computer to make a jump in inference, a quantum leap over miscellaneous data, something a programmed machine has been unable to do. Literally, the computer must skip variables rather than measure each one. It is not quite a mirror of the human gestalt "aha" illunimation of a decision but…

When I became interested in computer science, one of the areas that intrigued me the most was that of Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI was futuristic back when I first attended college and the ideas that surrounded it seemed unattainable and unrealistic. Today the development of AI has been achieved and continues to grow and expand into new uses.…

Artificial intelligence is a complex subject that requires some background information to fully understand. One of the earliest definitions of "true" artificial intelligence was proposed by Alan Turing with the Turing Test. The idea behind this test was to have a human ask both a computer and a human a series of questions and then see if the tester could tell which was the computer. The AI did not necessarily need to answer all the questions correctly, it just had to give an answer similar to that a human would give. The test would also be done via text so that the computer would not have problems with mimicking human speech. Very few AIs have passed the test with the first occurring in 2012 as it was judged to be human 52 percent of the time. The other major factor in determining a true artificial intelligence was the Chinese Room Experiments by John Searle as an expansion of the Turing Test. In this experiment, Searle wanted to test whether an intelligence was actually interpreting language or just…

Within the realm of Artificial Intelligence there are several secs which are responsible for making up that which is A.I. Normally when an individual thinks of Artificial Intelligence a few things come to mind such as the HAL 9000 system, known as “the inimitable star of the classic Kubrick and Clarke film ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’”(Picard 2001), others will think of the movie “Blade Runner”, this film featured an alternate future where a group of individuals were responsible for tracking down cyborg humans known as “Sims” which were so human like they actually were unaware that they weren’t actually humans (Scott, Fancher et al. 2007). These films come to mind because until the late 2000’s this was the closest we ever got to Artificial Intelligence…

The use of technology has always been vital to the life and survival of the human race. Ever since the Neanderthals utilized wooden tools to hunt and cook 500,000 years ago, humans have been fascinated with developing the next cutting edge technology or invention. In 1955, John McCarthy used a term called artificial intelligence, and defined it as "the science and engineering of making intelligent machines". Over the last 60 years with the inventions of computers, cell phones, and the internet, artificial intelligence has become prominent in the news and in mainstream media. Today, the phrase is a hot topic, not just in tech circles, but around the globe, as many experts believe the ensuing breakthrough will come through A.I.…

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the branch of computer science, which concentrates on the intelligence of machines, and involves applying the principles of reasoning, knowledge planning, learning, communication, perception, and controlling objects to emulate the human brain. The most recognizable AI application is robotics from Hollywood cinema, and includes films such as; I Robot, Transformers, Wall-e, WarGames, A.I., The Terminator, Robocop, Iron Man, and Star Wars to name a few, which is fictional not an actual representation of AI. Robotics applications is only one of three aspects of AI, which also includes Cognitive Science applications, and Natural Interface applications, however, the area businesses are finding the most useful is the Cognitive Science applications (Murugavel, 2014).…

Artificial intelligence is computer programs or robots capable of doing things that would require a certain type of intelligence if a human were to try to complete the program. An example of this would be if a car repair man had an older model car such as a 1979 then the repair man would be able to use his knowledge to fix the car. However if the car in need of repair was a 2010 model chances are you will need to hook it up to a machine that will tell you what the problem is because it is a computerized car.…

moves in a chess game or inferences by a theorem proving program. “Discoveries are continually made about how to do this more efficiently in various domains” (Xiuquan, Hongling, 2017). AI is also programmed to recognize patterns in various situations. When a program makes observations of some kind, it is often programmed to compare what it sees with a pattern. For example, a vision program may try to match a pattern of eyes and a nose in a scene in order to find a face. More complex patterns, e.g. in a natural language text, in a chess position, or in the history of some event are also studied. These more complex patterns require quite different methods than do the simple patterns that have been studied the most. AI can even be used in computers to create three-dimensional vision. The world is composed of three-dimensional objects, but the inputs to the human eye and computers TV cameras are two dimensional. Some useful programs can work solely in two dimensions, but full computer vision requires partial three-dimensional information that is not just a set of two-dimensional views. At present there are only limited ways of representing three-dimensional information directly, and they are not as good as what humans evidently use; nevertheless, there are still uses for this, such as a targeting system in a military drone. One of the most feasible kinds of expert system given the present knowledge of AI is to…
