Many families in the North Texas Region live day by day not knowing when their next meal will be and are unable to provide a Christmas that every family deserves. This year the club I play for, Tejas Volleyball Club, is making it possible for all families to experience the joys of a holiday so important. Tejas notices the stress on families that struggle with money this time of year. We realize Christmas should be carefree holiday that all families need to enjoy together with a Christmas dinner and gifts; this is exactly what we will provide this year to thirty six families in need. Every team at Tejas has a family they will “adopt” for Christmas. Each team has twelve to fifteen players, this will result in an abundance of gifts and food donated…

The safety and welfare of the children is very important in every setting as indicated in section 3 of the statutory framework for the early year’s foundation stage 2014. All providers must meet the necessary requirements to make sure the children are kept safe and well. In my setting we have three rooms which are the baby room, toddler room and pre-school. As I work in the toddler room I care for children age ranging between 16 months to 27months old. The children to staff ratio is very important as this ensures that the children’s needs and safety is met. If the children are under two years old then we have a staff ratio of 1 adult to 3 children and if the children are over 2 years old then we have a staff ratio of 1 adult to 4 children. The toddler room can hold up to 27 children with 9 members of staff ranging from a room leader, senior nursery nurse, level 2 and 3 qualified and some staff who are unqualified but working towards their qualification. All staff members are CRB checked to make sure that the children are safe hands.…

I need to show them that I am fair trustworthy caring. Also being positive and happy, being aware of my body language and facial expressions when talking to children, has a massive impact on the relationships I build with pupils. Showing them that their views and ideas are just as valuable as mine or yours, and they are a valued member of the school community, all of the above is established over a short period of time after establishing ground rules and mutual respect.…

Consequently, it has been a real controversial topic between parents and their kids ever since it was invented and used in the 1900’s. There have been many arguments and reasons that have been said for and against it. I for one am against its use. Among those who are for the use of spyware is an author named Harlan Coben, the author of The Undercover Parent. Throughout the article, he argues reasons that support his side. However, Coben’s arguments about the use of spyware because spyware restricts freedom, it’s an invasion of privacy and it doesn’t let children…
