Evaluate the anatomical and physiological similarities and differences between skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle.
During our reading, we have learned that there are three types of muscles found in the human body. As the text stated,” Without these muscles tissues, nothing in the body would move. Therefore, there wouldn’t be any physical enjoyment or protection for our internal organs in this life as we know it.” (Martin 2009). …show more content…
These particular muscles contain muscle tissues, connective tissues, blood vessels, and nerves. (Martin 2009) During this event, the skeletal muscles enables the body to contract or pull tendons in-order to move the bones to which enables the body to perform over a million different task such as; Supporting the weight of visceral organs, we need muscles in order to help shield us from injuries, muscles help to maintain our body temperature, Digestive tract, biting, chewing, swallowing food. Also too, it is because of the muscles in the human body that help us to store nutrients. We all count on those nutrients to later be released into the blood system which enables the human body to live which allows us to coordinate and live out our daily lives. (Martin
