Analysis: Purdue Boilermaker Half Marathon
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Thousands of area residents woke up for an early and cold morning run for a good cause Saturday morning.

The Greater Lafayette area hosted the 4th annual Purdue Boilermaker Half Marathon and 5K. The race now in its fourth year is a fundraiser for the Purdue Athletes Life Success Program.

Thousands of participants registered for the event and battled the chilly weather to run.

The routes of the half marathon and 5K took participants through some of the best places greater Lafayette has to offer.

Participants say it's a tough, but had some tips for future runners.
