When writing a research for college papers, it will take a lot of reading of material found in multiple places. The challenges that a researcher will face is finding accurate material for their research. I will attempt to explain what my challenge will be researching.
My Experience Writing Research Papers
This class will be a challenge, because I have not written research papers since I was in high school, which was more than 20 years ago. But I do have to say that I like challenges, so it will be fun re-learning how to research and write the results of my find.
I believe that my strength is that I have been writing technical documents and I know about writing instructional, but the weakness is that I do not know how to write a research paper. I will have to do more research on writing research in order to pass this class.
When reading the Big 6 steps, I believe that the most important of the Big 6 is Step 1: Consider Your Readers, because if you cannot capture the audience than your research will not matter if no one wants to read it. In Step 2: Select a Role I believe that all roles should play a part in writing a paper that draws the interest for the reader. When using Step 3: Generate Potential Research Questions will be easy for me. I will have a lot of questions because I also have Diabetes. I will be writing for me as well as an audience. Step 4: Select a Preliminary Research Question would be unique because I have a question that I would like answered. Step 5: Narrow the Scope of Your Research Question, I like the way Megan questions were to the point. These are some of the questions, which I have for my research. I of course have a couple more, but these are the main ones when asking questions about Diabetes. Step 6: Refine Your Preliminary Research Question through Searches, the

Follow the syllabus every week and you will get the results you want at the end of the course. Read all the reading material you are given and explore the Center for Writing Excellence, the Reference and Citation Generator, Grammar and Writing guides, APA formatt, the Write point and the Plagiarism Checker to help you inporve in this course. Work on your research paper the weeks you have to work on it so at the end you have everything you need to put your research paper togethter. If you miss a week or not do the work you will be rushing at the end to get your paper done.
