Analysis Of Hey Mom, May I Have My Room Back? By Cristina Rouvalis
The article “Hey Mom, Dad, May I Have My Room Back?” by Cristina Rouvalis, talks about graduated and current students; going back to live with their parents. According to this article, there are about fourteen million adults between the ages of eighteen – twenty four that still live at home, and the number will keep rising. The article also states that these adults are moving back with their parents because some cannot find jobs after college, and are not able to pay rent or pay student loans. I believe parents help out a bunch by letting us students stay at home for a few more years, and it help out with saving up for later on. Going back to live with your parents is beneficial for our financial goals, parents do not mind you coming back home, and students will not have many money problems. …show more content…
According to twenty three year old Mike Masilunas, that moving back in with his folks is an excellent strategy if you are trying to save money or pay off any loans. Mike has a student loan debt of forty thousand dollars, and that by moving back he is saving about six hundred dollars on rent, that all goes to finish paying off his loan.
