Amazon, Inc. is an American electric commerce company that has become a staple of internet business. Jeff Bezos established the company in 1994 and launched it online in 1995 as an online bookstore. However, Amazon soon becomes representational as they started to sell everything. Amazon is now one of the leading "internet retailing company in the world, that sells from books to electronics to potential buyers from all over the country, it is well known to have inexpensive prices for their items, and having great knowledge in making sure their consumers wishes are met at all times" (Amazon, 1996-2010). Though, with rising competition, it has become significant for Amazon to recruit and hire experienced and skilled employees as then it would …show more content…
After, I think that planning for the interview is just as critical as assessing applications. The procedure must have a system to set the focus of the interview. The course of the interview must be vibrant and to the point to achieve the material needed about the candidate without the bias of race, age, and sex. This layout is to support the evaluation process for the candidate. The groundwork must be able to incorporate the time for each candidate making it significant to schedule and sustain the agenda to meet effective targets. The confirmation of material gathered is one the of the most key points during the interview process. We believe it’s crucial to be detailed but allow dialogue to present the corporate culture of Amazon, but maintain the communication to the job roles. As Paul Petrone pointed out, Amazon’s theory on hiring can be tied to something its CEO, Jeff Bezos, said in 1998: “I’d rather interview 50 people and not hire anyone than hire the wrong person.” The interview stage is to assist us, Recruitment, with the acquisition process but it’s also helps us analyze material before proposing the job so determinations can be detached until all applicants have been interviewed.
