Introduction

This project is about my business the description, the objectives, the location and my source of capital. This project will also help others to know how to start a business and what to do during your business.

Acknowledgement

I would like to say thanks to the people who assisted me with this project. Firstly I want to say thank you to Mr. Fordyce for giving me this project and assisting me along the way, and to my parents who encourage me to do this project.

Description of Business

The business I chose is a restaurant, and the name of my restaurant is The Chez Palace. It’s a four star restaurant with two large dining area, one for the public and one private area for persons who will want privacy or private parties. The Chez Palace also does catering for banquets, valedictory dinners and weddings. My restaurant specializes in three main dishes which are: Jamaican, American and Chinese dishes.

Location of business

The Chez Palace is located at 165 Gloucester Avenue “Hip Strip” Montego Bay Jamaica, W.I. It is located in the heart of Montego Bay tourist area.

Objectives of Business

My objectives for my restaurant are:
➢ We want to make profits
➢ We want to provide jobs
➢ Quality goods and services
➢ Assist in community projects
➢ Donation to charities

Factors of Production

The factors of production are: Land, Labour, Capital and Management. ➢ Land is where you choose to build your business.
➢ Labour refers to the people you hire to work in your business. ➢ Capital refers to the assets such as the tools, equipment, buildings, and any improvement to existing structures or plant and machinery to be used to improve production as well as the money used to acquire natural and human resources.
