A Farmer Personal Statement
I want to be a farmer. This has been my answer since I was a child. Growing up on the family farm has influenced me to pursue a degree in agriculture business and return home and farm. Earning this degree will give me skills and knowledge to achieve my goal of better managing and expanding the operation. I plan on attending Lake Land College, completing my Associate's degree, then transfer to a four year university, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in agriculture business. While in college, I plan on becoming involved outside the classroom. Collegiate Farm Bureau and FFA are groups that top my list. I also plan on earning my American FFA degree. After college, I plan on holding a position with an agricultural company before returning to
