Why Do You Want to Study in the Us?
Hello, my name is Alland. I’m currently studying business management in a private university in Malang. I’ve always had a dream of studying in the US. And I have some reasons why I really want to study in the US. My first reason is because of the quality of education that universities in the US offer. US education system is considered as one of the best educational systems in the world. The second is… I want to improve my English skills. Certainly, being surrounded by English and using it on a daily basis can be a great and easy way to improve my language skills. I realize that English is the language of business and if I want to be successful in my career, I need to speak it well!
And the third is because I want to extend my network. Thousands of students all over the world come to study in the US every year. US is obviously a really great environment to connect with people all around the world. I also really want to experience the American way of life. Living in the US will show me a new culture from a deeper perspective than ever before. I know that US is a home of multicultural societies, and I’m really excited to learn those cultures. As life in the US is very different from the life that I am used to, the adjustment process will be anything from easy to nerve wrecking and frustrating. But dealing with this new situation will make me grow and become more open to other perspectives on life. This condition will also help me building my confidence.
I think these three points are the three main reasons why I want to study in the

People always say that living in a large city is a great quality, they like it because it let them get a lot of benefits; in my opinion, every place has its drawbacks; there is no perfect place that we can say: “It is formidable”. In the other hand, they are people who hate living in a large city, and they prefer the small one. As far as I live in Raleigh, I do not like it due to three reasons: change of weather, few means of transportation, and quiet life.…

Every year, students from all over the world come to America seeking to further their education. The number of foreign students that come to the USA each year has grown significantly in recent years thanks to all the educational opportunities that this country has to offer. First , not all countries provide students with the possibility to fund their college education via scholarships or financial aid. Some institutions in the USA have agreements with foreign high schools to reward their students who graduate with excellent grades by offering to sponsor them in the process of obtaining a student visa that would allow them to come to this country legally and apply for a college education. Another reason why students come to America to study is to please their families. Many parents in some countries feel that a college degree earned in the USA would provide their children with more recognition in their society. Finally, the main reason I think that most international students come to this country is to do more with their lives than they've done so far. Successfully completing a college degree in the USA often puts them in good position for getting a high paying job in their home countries. In conclusion, I think that this country has a lot more to offer in terms of education than most foreign countries, hence the reason why international students come here to…

Coming from a family who migrated to America illegally, I have adapted a lifestyle of being considerate and embracing consequences. I grew up with the income my parents could have best provide and faced the reality they were going through with my own eyes. At the age of 5, I knew my limitations of asking for something but, I knew deep inside all my parents ever wanted was to provide the best for their three children. Some nights I would hear them being impatient because they did not have enough money to pay the rent, I would hear footsteps come and go as if they were nervous about what would happen if they could not meet the deadline. Other nights my father would drink, I did not understood this at the age of 5 but now, I knew the only reason he would get drunk was to hide the pain of not providing for his family as the way he dreamed back in Mexico.…

I still remember my Europe trip, I tasted foods that I had never experienced, the Eiffel Tower was vivid, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa was majestic. Traveling to a foreign country always excites me. However, moving one's roost to a foreign country is a different story. It felt very frustrating to adapt to the new circumstances. I was no exception. After moving to several other countries, I felt tired and scared of moving. I strongly protested to my parents about moving to America, yet I had no choice but follow them. At that time, I did not know that moving to America would be the most important turning point of my life. The reason that I moved to different…
