1. Introduction

This report is an individual report that analyzes the ecological effort that must be realized by the event’s organizers in order to be eco-friendly. To apply these new ecological trends to a tangible event, the festival Tomorrowland has been taking as an example to demonstrate if it is realizable. Tomorrowland is a musical festival that takes place once a year in Belgium and gathers 180’00 over three days. First of all this report describes in several sections the efforts that can be realized in this particular event in order to be more eco-friendly oriented. Secondly, an in-depth analysis of the sponsors and suppliers of Tomorrowland is conducted in order to insure that the management team of the event collaborates with ethical companies in terms of ecology. In the last section, an analysis of the government regulation is described in order to know what issues the organizers might face to realize this musical festival. In addition, a brief description of the circulation issue is described to know how the event organizers deal with crowned management.

2. The event
Tomorrowland is an electronic musical festival that takes place every year in Boom, city of 17’000 peoples located in Belgium. The first edition occurred in 1995 with only 10’000 participants. Today, this event in considered as the largest electronic musical festival as stated by Bondy (2012). Indeed in the last edition in July 2012, Tomorrowland has gathered 180’000 peoples over three days from 75 nationalities. Forty percent of the tickets are reserved for Belgium citizens and the remainder is distributed in the rest of the world. In order to convey the festival-goers from abroad, the company “Brussels airline” have established special flight respectively from New York, Moscow, Copenhagen, Roma, Madrid, London, Stockholm, Milan, Geneva, Berlin, Barcelona, Prague, Manchester, Porto, Budapest, Bilbao, Lisbon and Barcelona...
