Important information & Check List

You will have to make your own arrangements for stay/transport. Bosch Limited will not pay any stipend during the total duration of your internship period. However, you can utilize the facilities of canteen without any charges. You are required to report for internship on the same day as mentioned in the letter issued from Bosch Jaipur plant, failing to do so, will result in allocation of the position to the next student in waiting. No further requests or correspondence on the same will be entertained.
The student is requested to bring the following on the day of joining at Bosch Jaipur plant. Failing to adhere to the below requirements will be treated as a non conformity and the student may not be allowed to continue with the internship.

You should have completed the following: o 5th semester (BE, B Tech) o 2nd Semester or 1st year in case of MBA o 4th Semester in case of MCA
You should have good academic track record ( ie. first Class throughout in 10th ,12th , Diploma(if applicable) & no back logs in any of the semester of the Bachelor Degree / Master Degree )
You should have a minimum of 75% and above in each semester of bachelors degree / master’s degree. In case, the college / university follows a yearly pattern, then the student needs to have 75% yearly. In no case aggregate marks will be considered.
Preference will be given to the students from Bosch listed colleges.

NOTE: The invitation letter for internship is issued to you on the basis of marks furnished by you in your resume sent to Bosch
Limited. However, the offer for internship stands cancelled if you do not fulfill the selection criteria as mentioned above.

Timings:

The student will have to adhere to the plant timings, and in no circumstances, students will be allowed to stay in the plant before or after the mentioned timings. Please check the notice board at the security gate for latest information.
Sign in time: 0815 hrs / Sign out time: 1700 hrs (Monday to Friday),
Sign in time: 0815 hrs / Sign out time: 1530 hrs(Saturday)
The students will be recording their attendance at the main gate everyday, on entry and exit. Attendance system will be active until 0815 hrs every day in the morning and the last person to record the attendance at 0815 hrs will be allowed inside the plant premises, in no circumstance students will be allowed inside the plant premises after the prescribed timings, hence you are requested to report on training well before the prescribed timings. Similarly, the attendance will be active until 1800 hrs every day
(Monday to Friday) in the evening and 1630 hrs (Saturday), you should record your attendance within the prescribed timings.

Security:

The students will be allowed inside the plant premises at the prescribed timings only and after proper identification. You will have to display the ID card issued to you at all times and will have to produce it on demand. Frisking may be done anytime and their belongings may also be checked without prior notice. Cameras / Mobiles with cameras are not allowed inside the plant premises. Mobiles with cameras, if found, will be forfeited immediately. You are requested not to bring valuables and excess cash inside the plant premises and Bosch Limited will in no way

Safety:

The student will have to procure safety shoes at their own cost and will have to wear it at all times while in the plant. Students without safety shoes will not be allowed inside the plant premises.
They will have to adhere to the all safety instructions issued from time to time by competent authorities. Bosch Ltd will not be responsible for any accidents inside / outside the plant during their training period.
Note: the student will have to be in safety shoes on the day of reporting for their trainings at Bosch Jaipur plant. You will not be allowed inside the plant premises without safety shoes.
Discipline:

Students will have to exhibit high levels of discipline during the training. They should have minimum of 95% of attendance to qualify for the internship certificate. In case of exigencies where the student is required to take a leave due to unavoidable circumstances, the student has to raise an application and get the consent from the respective mentor, the same then needs to be counter signed by HR and the security supervisor for procedural requirements.
General:

The students will not be using company printers / stationery for the printing project reports, they should not plug in unauthorized devices into the Bosch network or use personal CD /DVD’s. You will not foray into areas not of your concern, You will not form groups and sit inside the plant premises, Without prior permission, no Laptops / Pen drives will be allowed inside the plant premises. Students will not be allowed to go outside the plant premises without permission of their mentor / HR, during the working hours.
