Analyzing Research NeedsPrimary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 400–500 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas: 1. For this course, you will select a company and analyze its research needs throughout the session for the research proposal that you will be completing toward the end of this course. A helpful list of companies can be found at the following Web site: http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune500/ * Choose a company that has the following three characteristics: * Small to large organization * Must have seen dramatic business changes in the past decade, such as acquisitions or downsizing * Must include product brands that need a face-lift or new ways to reach new customers 2. Research and become familiar with your selected company/client.
