What is a social networking? A social networking or social media is an online service, platform or site that focuses on building social relations among people. For example, it allows people to both express their individuality and meet people with similar interests, activities or backgrounds. Most social media are web-based and provide means for users to interact over the internet, such as e-mail and instant-messaging. There are various social sites that can be used as business platform such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Blog, or Pinterest. Social networking is becoming a mainstream for marketing tactic. It is now a popular initiative and a successful one for some companies, whether it is in a small or large scale business. Furthermore, it has a nice form of entertainment which can be very effective business technique for entrepreneurs. Social networks give tons of advantages and disadvantages when using them as a business platform.
