The use of mixed methods is currently increasing in social science research since it emphasizes methodological pluralism‚ and provides a broader and more credible understanding of the research problem than the use of a single method (Tashakkori and Teddlie 2010). However‚ mixing methods for no good reason other than the sake of it can produce disjointed and unfocussed research‚ and can severely test the capabilities of researchers. I raise some cautionary issues in this paper by critiquing the methodology

Critique of "Too Much of a Good Thing" "Eating too much food is a bad thing (Steam‚ n.d.)." says Greg Crister in his op-ed essay "Too much of A Good Thing" featured in the Los Angeles Times (July 22‚ 2001). Analytical Critique of The Godfather I believe the reason that‚ "The Godfather"‚ is such a great film is because it lets audiences decide whether they like the characters or not. Too many movies made about organized crime begin with some seemingly random act of violence. "The Godfather"‚ however‚ lets it be known from the start to judge the characters in the film based on what type of person they are instead of the criminal activities they may engage in. The film begins with a wedding‚ and

An Acting Critique of Legally Blonde the Musical On Friday night‚ May 3rd at & p.m.‚ my mother and I attended the opening night of Legally Blonde in the Buena P.A.C. I must begin by saying that I am slightly biased towards one of the actors who just so happens to be my sister‚ so the roles of Chutney‚ the girl who accidentally murdered her father‚ and a Delta Nu sister have never been played more perfectly in my eyes. While I found the play both amusing and enjoyable‚ there were some big issues
