The Dealsburgh International Tradeshow
One sale in particular sale stood out to me as customer was friendly and honest with me through the whole process. When I gave my quote for my product, she was honest with what deal she had gotten from another sales person, which was lower than my initial quote. She asked if I could match the price, and she was willing to negotiate so we would both be happy with the sale. Even though I did not make too much commission on this sale, I was able to make an honest customer happy and content with her purchase. Not all sales must be high commission. If the Dealsburgh International Tradeshow continued, I would be confident that I would have created a business relationship and have a returning customer, benefiting me in future prospects.
In another case, a customer was inquiring about my product. She agreed to my quoted price and I was ready to put the deal through, but later that day she sends me a text that she had a better deal from another sales person,

Total commissions accumulated to $628 with 7 individual sales. Thus meaning I have $924 at the end of the Dealsburgh Tradeshow simulation. The items I had purchased include:
• 100ft*2 extra strength industrial shelving and installation for $1,340
• Website design and hosting with quarterly updates customer forum page and maintenance for $1,350
• Delivery truck GPS system for 3 trucks with enhanced colour displays and GPS installation for $1,364
Part of being a good sales person is having impeccable communication, and one particular sales person had this skill. They approached me with an offer and agreed to keep that offer until I was ready to commit to their company. There was an error in the pricing as it was not approved initially, but she kept in contact each step of the way and gave me a great counteroffer. I feel like she did a great job as she did not feel defeated after the rejection of the deal, but bounced back quickly and closed the

Currently, we have five trucks operating all over the city at any given time. With grid lock and accidents, implementing the GPS system will allow our drivers to navigate with HD Traffic information around these areas and make delivers on time. The system we are proposing is the TomTom GO Live 1535M. With this system, Party Plates can set up a Twitter account and our drivers can keep companies informed on what time they expect to deliver. Additionally, if there are any issues with delivery, Twitter messages can be sent out to inform the company of that as well. The device can also locate the cheapest fuel prices which in the long run, will save the company money. However, there is a small drawback to this system. According to CNET Reviews.com the system says that, “searching the connected services is clunky and, at times, intuitive (CNET 2012).” Each unit costs $179 dollars per unit and installation is as simple as installing mounts in each truck to hold the devices, totally costs being approximately $1000.…

I have been through so many experiences with sales representatives but as well as everyone else in the world who buys goods or services from someone else. You meet different kind of salespeople anywhere where you go. They’re motives can be because they are working on commission meaning their paycheck is reflected on the amount of product or service they sell or they are just trying to be as helpful to you as possible because they like what they do. For whatever, reason it may be the goal is always to find and sell what the consumer wants. I have worked in retail in the past selling coffee for people. I did not have any experience in selling prior to the coffee shop job but the job teaches you how to sell their product. So, I have an idea how the sales representatives are going to be like and the basic structure, which brings me to one of my memorable experiences with a sales representative. I was looking for a present for my girlfriend for our anniversary. I know already that she likes this one particular brand so I went to that store. The usual greeting the moment I got in the store, “Hello, please let us know if there is anything we could help you in.” I looked around the store and stopped at their jewelry case. I have been standing there for about five minutes before a sales representative came up to me. She asked if there was anything she can help me with. I told her why I was there. The sales representative started to ask me a couple of follow up questions such as the time of the anniversary, whether my girlfriend like silver or gold, and the clothes she wears. After, answering all her questions she showed me a couple of necklaces and rings as an idea for a present. I liked all of them but I told her none of those feel right to get. Then, she asked me my feelings towards a particular product and it from there she brought out watches and bracelets. From those questions that was asked from me she pinpointed what I was looking for before…

I am usually an honest person, who doesn’t like any person or persons being dishonest with me. I feel that, perhaps I made each salesman a little bit better in their approach and techniques, while servicing me. I had asked more question to them about their own salesman abilities and found out I was just dealing with “rookies”. Therefore, I really enjoyed performing this “natural observation” in several different ways. First, I really liked not being “preyed upon” like I was a human, unsuspecting animal with deep pockets. In all cases above, dealerships “A, B & C,” did show me some respect, because I initially told them of my buying plan. Each dealer reacted differently, but each gave me the space I needed to make my OWN decision on selecting my choice of vehicle. I also found out that all types of car salesman at these “pristine” dealerships basically have no formal training or none at all. Does this mean all the qualified people have given up because of this poor economy or have they just changed jobs? Another one quality I did like was that no dealership ever pressured me to “buy today”. I have purchased vehicles from dealerships before and was taught to never let a customer off the lot until you have them in the grip of your…
