Shanna's Way: A Case Study
Shanna’s Way will be introducing some training and education to all employees effective immediately. Training will cover the use of our time management system, cooperation and compliance with the training is required and appreciated. A recent audit of our company time tracking and payroll system has brought up some concerns with employee punches. Having inappropriate punches can affect your pay as well as cause payroll problems. Per the law, all time worked by an employee will be recorded and compensated accurately. As a company, we will ensure all employees are compensated for their work and that they are working while on the clock. Accordingly, we will start by sharing the employee handbook section of our policy on appropriate time tracking. Each employee is required to read and sign a form stating they understand this policy. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Human Resources Department. Next, training and education on the time management system and the correct usage of this system will is scheduled to begin first thing Monday September 18, 2017. Finally, we will create and implement a tracking system for all management to be able to effectively double check punches, and offer training for any employee needing additional assistance.
