Team Ground Rules and Guidelines
Members should be on time with assignments and responsibilities agreed to. If they are not going to be on time, post a message ASAP stating late or absent. They should check the Learning Team Forum every day for questions and late/absent notices. Lastly, communicate when you are having trouble or struggling and need assistance. Expectations for Time Management and Involvement
(Participation, communication with the team, accessibility, etc)
Communicate, communicate, communicate! If you will be absent or out a particular day of that week communicate on Monday of each week when you will be out. If a member is struggling or needs assistance, ask right away. Always check the learning team ‘A’ forum everyday to see if there are questions or help needed. I think we need to step-up a team secretary\admin - posting sections, assignments, and updates, etc. If no one volunteers, I will be happy to do it.

What to do if a team member cannot be reached or isn’t participating to the satisfaction of the team?
Again, communication is key. If we do not here from a member by Wednesday 6pm on their contributions each week, we divvy up the sections that need a volunteer. A time line and due dates should be set for each task. If someone has misses a deadline then a message is posted and we finalize the missing assignment. Also, a message is posted to professor Rita Solomon-Moore, as she should be our corporate boss and he needs to know when a member is slacking so credit is assigned appropriately. Special Considerations
What do you, as a team, agree will make this team experience different from past team experiences.

This project will upgrade the company’s database system within Human Resources. All database information will now be stored on the new database server that will be installed at the main headquarters. The database servers that are already installed at each local site will be reconfigured to send and receive updates to the main server so that all database servers are mirrored. Hard disk drive space will be upgraded to account for database growth at each location. Employees that require access to this database will need approval from the Human Resources department to protect employee information. This project will not update the actual database software but will reconfigure the software to be accessible across the company network as well as combine all database information into one large database. First I would setup a meeting with the team to communicate the issues that senior managers have brought to my attention. Team members need to establish a common understanding of team purpose, roles, responsibilities and accountabilities. We need to revisit the performance plans to establish the expected outcomes, outputs, key performance indicators and goals for the team. As levels of cooperation are falling, this must be presented to the team with a positive attitude. As a team is a group of people who work together and are collectively responsible and accountable for a defined task and each member has skills to contribute to the task. After the meeting I would need to determine an optimal team deployment;…

I feel like the issues that relate to schedules and time management should be addressed in the beginning of forming a team. One of the greatest problems I have had while working in teams is trying to get a response from a team member that is busy. I think it's crucial to inform others of your daily schedule, so if a problem arises within the assignment work, you will know in advance when everyone is available to talk it over and swiftly solve the assignment.…
