This book is about a guy named Hrothgar who builds a hall and a monster named Grendel comes and tries to kill everyone. Then a guy named Beowulf comes and defeats the monster Grendel and so Beowulf then saves everyone. Then Beowulf becomes king and defeats “She” (Grendel's mother), the dragon, and accomplishes much more things. Hrothgar was the strongest, and when Healfdenes died he was made king. Hrothgar had a backbone that would bend to no man. He was fierce and bold. He had red hair. His eyes were like naked swords and a jutting jaw. Unferth is the son of Ecglaf and is very rude. Grendel is the wickedest friend who ever crawled in the darkness. Beowulf Strong wrists, brown hair.
