Part 1: Diagnostic Report

1.0 Company Introduction
MAS Active Linea AITC is the primary manufacturing and design function provider who supports the key client of MAS – Nike AITC. The function of the MAS Active operations is to facilitate as a laboratory that allows the students whom are at Nike AITC to have the opportunity to experiment and trial the innovations and understand the required process improvements. This is MAS’s 27th manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka, and their fourth to be based within the MAS Fabric Park at Thulheriya. Linea AITC is the 'model' facility which Nike uses to train the Lean principles. A plant dedicated to Nike it boasts an ambitious vision to be the true benchmark for lean globally (MAS Annual report, 2015).

Turnover has both optimistic and pessimistic facets; however it is in the organizations of interest to eliminate the negative impacts and the excessive level of turnover that pressures knowledge continuity (Branham, 2005; Ertl, 2005; Reib, 2008; Zahorsky, 2010). Extreme turnover causes an unjustified weight for a company’s budget and human resources, i.e. time devoted to labour recruiting, advertisements, interviews, initial training, management, motivation, assessments, taking up a new job, mentoring, coaching, and substitution while the position is vacant. There were several limitations while doing this research and those limitations can be divided as limitations by the side of restricting the content and the quality of the project and the limitations which cause in a personal way. The limitations of the research are mentioned below.
• HR related information was not revealed up to a certain extent due to the company rules & regulation.
• Time limits was highly putting pressure to complete the research on due time.
• The company did not provide accurate information on the HR process.

7.0 Conclusion
Based on the findings of this study it is evident that, organizations cannot take a risk and disregard the personal and organizational needs of its employees. In order to gain the best out of their personnel and to thereby increase the performance of the company, all facilities should be offered and needs should be met so that the right background and platform is laid.
