Amara restaurant is a great place to eat, combining an exciting atmosphere with excellent, interesting food. The mission is not only to have great tasting food, but have efficient and friendly service because customer satisfaction is vital. We want to be the restaurant choice for all families and singles, young and old, male or female. Employee welfare will be equally important to our success. Everyone will be treated fairly and with utmost respect. We want our employees to feel a part of the success of Amara ‘s Restaurant. Happy employees make happy guests. We will combine menu variety, atmosphere, ambience and a friendly staff to create a sense of 'place' in order to reach our goal of overall value in the dining experience. We want fair profits for the owners, and a rewarding place to work for the employees.

Business Concept
At this initial stage, Amara restaurant is a sole proprietorship owned by May Khin, founder and general manager. It will be a registered as Amara restaurant. We will move up to incorporate as recommended by our attorney later, based on growth of the business and condition as a business arise

Products and Services

Amara provides combination of two Asian cuisines where customers can feel an unmet dining experience. Amara restaurant offers dinner a la carte style menu, set menu and take-away menu. The kitchen also provides food on request for special order of Vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose intolerant. The menu offerings are simple, healthy and tasty. Amara restaurant also offers home delivery system for who does not have time to come and dine in at Amara restaurant, but delivery service is provided for minimum of $50 purchased.

Firstly, the main key strength of Amara restaurant is that Amara restaurant is the only place which offers Burmese and Thai cuisines in one place in Melbourne. Furthermore, customers can have two different types of flavor at once by dining in Amara restaurant. Because of these two main key strengths, Amara restaurant will gain mission statement in less than five years.

Amara Burmese & Thai restaurant offers a wide range of authentic Burmese and Thai cuisine and it is opened 7 days a week from 5pm-10pm. Amara is located on a busy main road in Clayton, Centre road. Amara restaurant emerges as one of the only fine dining options in the neighborhood.
