Understanding Ourselves
The Nature of Human Service
TRANSLATION:
The distinctive component in human service is that it requires knowledge and decipline
of the worker's self. The nature of human service is a process that requires both give
and take including the people involved. It is a debatable process. A good reference
to understanding the nature of human service would be the standards of classroom
teachers who presume that some children educate better than others or others
that cant be educated as well.
Assumably the way an individual feels about themselves is a significant component
towards human service. It's stated that whatever the case is, if a person likes
themself, they usually succeed in life itself and concur and contribute with other
people. A variety of aspects devote to the evolution of one's self-image.
INTERPRETATION:
The factors to the natures of human service is an open window to unwind themselves
to use their expiriences to relate and/or face expirences that they have already
whitnessed. When we decide to accept these things it will affect what we do later on. It
will help us advance in self-awareness and comprehend possible changes in attitude,
feelings and behavior in working relationship.
EXTRAPOLATION
This personal analysis is constructed to refine people to themselves and personal
emotions, feelings and actions. Many who struggle would ask themselves simple
questions such as 'How do I think and feel about myself' or 'How do I relate to the
society in which I live and work'.

According to Woodside and McClam, the four major themes of human services include problems with living, the growing number of problems in the modern world, self-sufficiency, and the three distinct functions human services serve: social care, social control, and rehabilitation (An Introduction to Human Services).
