Carta de Motivacion Intercambio
Dear Sirs, I am writing to express my interest in participating in the exchange program at Aalen University in Germany. My name is Joaquín Rojas, and I am an undergraduate student of Industrial Civil Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. Currently, I am in my last semester, which, in my viewpoint, is the perfect time to live this experience. I have chosen Germany as my destination for several reasons, which are related to personal and working matters. In the first place, my family has a strong connection with this country since my grandmother has German ascendency; so I have always received its cultural influence. Also, this experience gives me the opportunity to live independently and realize what I am capable to do on my own. At the same time, living in Germany will make me able to study another language. Apart from that, Germany is a developed country with a rich history, which I would like to get familiarized with. Specifically, Aalen University represents the perfect educational center since it’s located in Württemberg-Baden, one of the most competitive states in Europe. The university is highly linked to business and economy, which are the fields I am interested in. Finally, Aalen is known for its cultural diversity with students from 50 different countries, which gives me the chance to socialize, live, and get to know people from all over the world. I hope these words can explain how I feel about living this experience and how interested I am about it. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
