It is a profession that is expanding in new directions to meet the health care needs of all South Africans. Movement is away from the traditional compounding and dispensing of medicine towards a more professional advisory and primary health care role. I have decided to study further after I have completed Matric. I have decided to study Pharmacy or Optometry. My final decision is to study Pharmacy. After I have researched and done a lot of thinking I feel that this is the better option for me as it interests me. I will have to work much harder in school and apply everything that I have to my school work. There will be many sacrifices I have to make to achieve my goal and also many privileges taken away as well. When I pursue this option there will be many responsibilities that I will have to take on to complete this venture successfully.
From my research it shows that I do meet the required criteria but I will definitely have to work harder in order to get a higher chance for acceptance. 2.3
