    A setting about the impact of the setting is, “in the city that the four men live is not an ideal place you would not want to live in.” There are a few reasons why this setting affects the lives of the four men. My first reason is the in that area the en live in call it a “lockup” in New York which does not sound very pleasant. In that city, there is a lot of crime and violence, which most people do not want. For instance, there is a man murdered and robbed for money at his own convenient store. In addition, Steve (the protagonist) is in detention center willing to take his life so he would spend a day in jail. I do not think it would not happen in any other setting but the likely hood of it being in a different setting there would be a different plot. Such as if, the setting was in a wealthy neighborhood. There is a less of a chance not of crime and violence in that setting. An example to support this says, “The best time is to cry at night, when the lights are out and someone is getting beaten up screaming for help.”…

    She was able to use it to bring victory to England on the battlefield. Elizabeth was also “taught the art of public speaking, unheard of for women at the time. But the ability to address a large number of people, from ministers in Parliament to troops on the battlefield, stood Elizabeth in good stead for the future. She learnt how to turn the tide of opinion in her favour, and this became one of her most effective weapons” (Briscoe). This became valuable in the 1580s when the war between England and Spain became apparently inevitable. The Spanish Armada was a fleet of 130 ships that King Phillip of Spain planned to sail into the English Channel to meet with an army coming from the Netherlands and simultaneously invade England. However, Elizabeth’s men were maintaining a close watch on the shores of England for the Armada, and when the first ship was spotted fighting erupted. As English soldiers and sailors were fighting for England’s independence, the Queen was headed for Tilbury. “She was not going to sit trembling inside a guarded Palace while her people fought, but was going to go to the coast of the battle and ‘live or die’ with them” (Thomas, “The Spanish Armada”).     Writing about Shakespeare promotes a sympathy with extremes. One such extreme is the impressionism of a critic like A. C. Bradley, when he tries to hold together, synoptically, Feste the fool and Shakespeare himself, both as actor and magical author.     In response to the Independent article titled "Ere, gis a job" I think that the head teacher produced the letter in order to try to get parents to teach their young children and correct their grammar whilst they are still able to absorb such dialect instead of growing up thinking that slang words or shortened sayings are acceptable for example when they are going to interviews for jobs they may in fact be disadvantaged if they were to use sayings such as "I dunno" instead of "I don’t know". I think the head teacher is merely trying to point out that she believes they are not going to get far in life if they use such slang words instead of proper dialect when speaking to professional individuals, she is saying that slang to her is a bad thing and therefore believes that not using slang such as the above words, but by parents correcting them if they do use such words in their everyday life, would set a good example for their children's dialect in their future. She is also saying to the parents of the children in her school that she doesn’t like how their children are speaking, the way in which they are pronouncing their words.…
