He was treated with an intense course of chemotherapy and during this time it had me thinking about how and why a mutation in a cell can grow and cause a tumour and also how chemotherapy treatment can destroy the mutated cells (along with some healthy cells) and cause a person to have side effects such as skin discolouration‚ hair loss‚ loss of appetite and a lowered immune system
