In this experiment I will investigate the temperature of 50cm³ of water before and after I have added calcium chloride‚ I will gradually increase the amount of calcium chloride by 1 gram to see if there is a significant change. When Calcium Chloride is mixed with water it performs an exothermic reaction which makes new bonds between the salt (Calcium Chloride) and the water. This will therefore make the solution of the reaction increase in temperature. Exothermic reactions transfer energy

Applying Archetypal Analysis in Marketing Research © Paul Riedesel‚ Action Marketing Research 2008 Archetypal analysis is a mathematical procedure for decomposing a multivariate dataset as a function of a set of underlying archetypes or ideal types. While used for many years in the physical sciences‚ these methods were first introduced to marketing research practitioners by Louviere and Carson at the 1998 Advanced Research Techniques Forum. Little public use has been made in our field since then

Data Analysis The investigation I did was to find the resistance of a piece if wire. The piece of wire is my dependent variable throughout the investigation. I changed the length of the wire in order to measure the resistance of each length. Plan In this investigation‚ a simple circuit will be set up to read the voltage and current when the length of the wire changes. The length will range from 10cm-80cm with intervals of 10cm. The length of the wire will be changed by moving the crocodile clip

Interpretation of Data When looking at my results i can safely say that the change in HCl concentration does affect the rate of reaction with the Calcium carbonate pebbles. The relationship between the change in HCl and reaction rate can be seen in the graph and raw data table presented above. If you compare the lowest concentration with the highest concentration you’d be able to see that there is a very large contrast between their averages. The average gas production of 0.1M HCl was 0.00693 kPa/s

makes perfect‚ a common idiom many have heard hundreds of times. However‚ Malcom Gladwell has said it better‚” Practice isn’t the thing you do once you’re good. It’s the thing you do that makes you good”. This is one of the most important lesson Outliers will teach. Without the ten thousand hours or ten years of practice‚ one can never be successful in whatever art they strive to perfect. Without those ten thousand hours even the great Mozart hadn’t created an original masterpiece until 21 years
