I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me
I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me Philippians 4:13

I am not afraid of anything because I know that the Lord Jesus Christ is with me. There isn’t anything God can’t do which means because I have him in me and with me I too can do all things. I know that, I believe that, and I have accepted that grace from him so I am capable of anything because where I am weak I can pray to God and he will lead me through. When there are things that need to be done and I know I can’t do it by myself I pray to God and wait on him to show me how and he does. God has never failed me and I know he will never leave me so I’m never intimidated to do things beyond man’s belief because where Man says I can’t the Lord shows me We can and that’s why I have mighty faith because I know what my God is capable of. The Lord is my strength he is like a muscle that I’m able to flex and things become just. if I ever feel hopeless I think about all that God has brought me thru and that reassures me that there will be nothing that I will ever have to challenge alone for he will continue to be with me and together we will overcome all future obstacles . A lot of people don’t believe in themselves because they don’t believe in or have faith in God I feel if you believe in God then you should know that you’re capable of anything because he said he will never leave nor forsake you all you have to do is call on him and he’s there so the next time you feel incapable of something pray and ask God for guidance and watch him work. Thank

In the courage part when it talks about fear of failure is described as, “a debilitating disorder characterized by an unhealthy aversion to risk. Some symptoms include anxiety, mental blocks, and perfectionism…” Even though I don’t think I have a disorder I’m pretty conscious with the fact that I do have a fear of failure. In fact, when it comes to perfectionism, I end up spending more time on the final presentation and every little detail rather than focus on the excellence of a project.…

An example of being afraid of failure is in lines 10-20, “...In which people thereof, respectively, shall then be in rebellion against the United States”. Abraham Lincoln has 100 days to free the slaves but he is afraid that he will fail and he was also afraid that the people would rebellion against the United States. How this relates to me is that we both are trying to be successful for the present but also the future. However, we are afraid of failing and that will bring many bad consequences to our life.…

There is one area that I lack in determination. I lack determination to go to church on Sundays. This is another aspect of determination, but it is very similar. Faith is a very powerful thing. A person with a very strong faith will find that even in the worst of times, there is a potential positive outcome. There have been many times that my faith has been tested. My faith is tested every day with everything that I do. If I do not have faith that there is another outcome in the end, then what is the point in being successful while I am here. The day I realized just how strong faith is, was the day that I was saved. That was the greatest day of my life. The amount of emotion that was forced out of me was like a knockout blow from a heavyweight boxer. The emotion that I was showing was not a bad emotion, it was a matter of having all the problems that I have and will have in the future, being lifted off my shoulders. Having faith can be one of the hardest things to have, it takes a strong-willed individual to not lose their faith at…

In the darkest of places, with God, hope shines through. Confirming this statement, “I lay aside my pride before God, who has taken me from nothing to make me who I am” (385). He became nothing, but he had hope and he laid everything down for God. Doing this took him from nothing, and made him who he is today. As well as, “God offered you a miracle, when … God sent you a fortune in the midst of your deprivation.” In the midst of his deprivation, despair, and distressfulness God sent some hope his way, sent him a miracle. When you are in a dark place God will be by your side giving you hope if you are willing to take it.…

To overcome something does not mean you have to conquer or demolish that obstacle. The only thing you need to do to prevail in any condition is to eliminate the power of that situation, fear, or belief over you. It is not the situation that is the barrier; it is your reaction to the situation. Trust your heart and you can find your way out of any beliefs or fears that are dragging you down.…

    Courage Definition

Mainly my religion. I am a catholic so my faith in God and his promises gives me strength and courage. My other sources for my strength are my sisters. I have five sisters and it is my responsibility to be courageous for them in order to keep them safe and teach them how to be strong and courages themselves. There is a bible verse I think of when I am in need of courage: “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will never fail you nor abandon you” ( Deuteronomy 31:6). Reading this scripture reminds me that I will never be alone and God will not give me an obstacle I cannot overcome. “You have to be strong for your sisters” is something I was always told growing up. Being the second oldest out of six daughters I had a lot of responsibility. One of those responsibilities was being strong for my sisters. As we faced difficulties and tragedies I had to be the one my sisters could lean on. I believe that is why most of my courage comes from God. Given that I do not have the closest bond with my parents, I only had trust in God as problems arise. As an older sister it is my duty to be able to compose myself and reassure my sisters that everything will be okay and nothing bad will happen to them. And at times I just wanted to vent all my feelings and emotions out but I had to be the one to deal with all the difficulties when no one else would. I have to be the refuge for my sisters. “But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31). This verse inspires me to leap into acts of courage. Even if I have doubts about the action God will be by my side providing me with strength and will not leave me alone. I can only succeed when acting in courage. If I do nothing, nothing will change. If I take action, only positive…

    My Personal Faith

My faith has enabled me to handle life challenges from my past and present. Some of these challenges have been series of events that I could hardly believe were happening, while others came with great joy. At five years old, my younger brother, Chandler, died unexpectedly. This was a tough challenge for my whole family to face. This challenge could have easily torn my family apart but together, as a team with God, we worked hard at picking up the pieces and moving forward even when there were days that seemed to be impossible. In the fifth grade, I was diagnosed with a common learning disability known as Attention Deficit Disorder. I am faced with this challenge on a daily basis. I have learned to cope with this disorder over the years by making prayer and patience priorities in helping me conquer this challenge. This challenge was especially difficult during my SAT and ACT tests. Certain scores on these tests were required to get into college and play NCAA football. The stress and pressure of taking these tests felt unbearable at times. While studying and before and during each test, I would remind myself that, through God, all things are possible. With God by my side, I was able to achieve the scores needed to reach my college and athletic goals.…

This quote by Mark Twain can be applied to everyone. Every single person in the world has experienced fear before because it is human nature to be afraid in certain situations. Many people have heard about people who have courage and it is assumed that courage is the "absence of fear" but no one is absent of fear. Courage is the ability to control fear when it arrives. People with courage are always ready to deal with fear. They also realize that fear does not really exist; fear is a figment of imagination. Twain is saying that courage can be obtained by anyone if they understand that fear is only an idea in the mind. Fear comes from an idea that the mind draws…
