Friendship can be view in many ways. Philosophers have long recognized that friendship plays a central role in a meaningful and happy life. It asserts that friendship is regarded as a significant and important aspect of social life in America culture. A friendship is a practical and emotional relationship of mutual and reciprocal goodwill, trust, respect, and love or affection between people who enjoy spending time together. Friends are amongst those few people who accept us, rather like us, as we are. If you would ever need to hear the bitter truth about yourself, you would go to your best friend. He/she will never lie to you, just to please you and win your favors. They never come into our life, expecting us to change for them. However, they do correct us when we are at fault. The best part is that a friend’s advise will always be for your betterment, whether it hurts you or pleases you. What makes a friend in my culture is a respectful, truthful, honestly, and a person that is always there for you whenever you need them. In my culture I was raise by being a loyal person and never lie to my parents. Always respect my elders, either by saying hello or a handshake you see someone. Stating this, a good friend to my culture won’t just be any person I’ve never met or seen, they would have to be close and know me really well for me to accept them as a good friend. Friendship is noble. Friendship is divine. A true friend is really a gift from god. There are instances of men sacrificing their lives for their friends.
