I am writing this letter in response to the job listing I recently saw on Craigslist for the Concierge, at the Foxboro location of Dominics. My recent job, as well as my past job experience, and my schooling combined would make me a qualified and experienced candidate for the position.
I recently graduated from Massasoit Community College. I received an Associates Degree in restaurant and hotel management. For the 4 years I was in school I also was on the student body (holding office as vice president two of those years). I was an avid write for the student-produced newspaper "The Voice". Upon graduation, my peers voted me as most likely to succeed in life. My college experience and degrees combined show my enthusiasm and dedication to the task at hand as well for my future.
Working with the public as well as being a people pleaser comes naturally to me. Growing up I was in my grandfather’s restaurant daily, which pushed me to realize I loved people. As soon as I was old enough to work, I did. All my jobs I have had had (which is limited to 3 ) I have held long periods of time as well as left only because of a better opportunity or change of venue. I also have always worked with the public and thrived to ensure the client’s satisfaction. My current job title I hold is Concierge at Long Wharf Hotel And Casino. I have held this job since their opening in 2007. I have a large repeat costumer base as well as bring in pristine clients often.
