A Special Person
Throughout my life I have had many people come in and out. Within these past twenty-two years of my life I was blessed to have a very special person enter into my life. That special person has been there for me since birth. Who’s that special person in your life?
Everyone has a certain person in their life that means the world to them, but it really takes a wonderful person to be special to you. The person that I admire the most is my mom. She is so generous, considerate, and loving. She comforts and helps me get through tough times. My mom has always encouraged me to do my best at whatever I chose to do. She also has encouraged me to never give up no matter how hard the situation may be. No matter what I can always count on my mom to be there for me.
My mom was my first teacher. She taught me everything that I know today. She taught me my first words as a baby. She taught me how to take my first steps as I was learning to walk. My mother has told me amazing stories throughout my life to help me get a better understanding about this world that we live in. Since I was a small child church has been a big priority in my mother’s life. Her belief in God came before everything; she always looked up to God for strength and courage. Now that I’m older church is still a big priority in my life, I made my choice to continue.
I admire my mom so much. She taught me a lot as a child and is still teaching me as a young woman. I appreciate her for everything she has done and is still doing for me. I realize she is not only my mom, but she is also my best friend. My mom means the world to me.

Virtually everyone has someone that they admire. Most of my friends admire movie stars like Tom Cruise or superstar athletes. Have you ever thought of about who you admire? Well, I certainly have! The person I admire the most is neither world famous nor a multimillionaire. I save my admiration for a special woman, my mother because she is dependable, supportive, and attentive. That is, I admire her for many reasons.…

The person whom I admire most is my mom, -. She has been my rock for as long as I have been alive. My mom has raised me to be a respectful, mature, caring, and hardworking individual. She healed the boo-boos I suffered as a young child, guided me through the awkwardness of puberty, and softened the heartache and disappointment that come with adolescence. My mom is the hardest worker I know. While taking care of three children despite her multiple sclerosis, my mom went to college and maintained a 4.0 GPA. She is also the kindest person I have ever met. If my mom knew of anyone who didn’t have enough food, she would literally get food out of our cabinets to feed them. Lastly, she is the smartest person—academically as well as commonsense-wise—I have ever met. Over the years my mom has talked me out of many bad decisions, such as bell-bottom jeans and blue eye-shadow, and coached me to make good choices, such as charity work and taking college classes in high school. Because my mom has passed along so much of her wisdom to me, I will be better able to contribute to society than I would have been without her example.…

I have a lot of people I look up to, but the one person who stands out the most is my mother. She has taught me more things than anybody else I know. Things that I will keep with me for a lifetime. Like how to keep on pushing even though I feel like giving up. She taught me how to be confident and believe in myself and not to let negativity bring me down. She taught me early on that there is a difference between what I want and what I need and material objects aren’t everything but that doesn’t mean I can’t spoil myself from time to time. It has helped me to keep balance in my life so wouldn’t over spend on things I didn’t need.…

Admire is a very strong word or meaning. Admire means to regard (an object, quality, or person) with respect or warm approval or to look at with pleasure. Who is that one person you go to when you are having a bad day or hard time? That person is my mom. My mom is the most funny, caring, generous person in the whole wide world. She always knows the right things to say to me when I am upset and she knows exactly what I love. She gives the best advice for me because she has been through what I am going through now as a teenager. Yes I do go to my friends for advice but my mom’s advice is better because of her experiences. My mom always tells me “Your mother is your best friend because she will never hurt or leave you.” Not only does she fulfill motherly duties, she also fulfills the best friend duties as well. She makes me breakfast or she gossips with me. She takes me wherever I want to go or she will tag along and go shopping with me. Many people say that mothers should not be best friends to there children but I disagree with that completely. If she was not there for me or acted like a best friend to me I would be a totally different person then I am today.…
