A Place to Visit
I’ll write about a place to travel. That is Vung Tau Sea in Vung Tau city. It is one of the interesting places to visit for a holiday. It is about 100 kilometers from HCMC and can be reached by car or motorbike. It is crowded every day with domestic and foreign visitors. There are a lot of hotels near the beach, so you can rent a room and enjoy the beautiful sea views. The beach is very nice with smooth sand and the sea is very clean with small waves striking the shore. This is really fantastic with fresh air therefore you can go for a stroll on the beach and build sandcastles, pick up stones, shell-fish or crab. The weather is humid; you can swim in the sea. Domestic visitors like to sunbathe because Vietnam is a hot country. At night, you walk along the street near the beach; you can see a lot of cafés. They are beautifully decorated with chandeliers rolling down from the ceiling when you walk past the front door. Whenever I come here, the first thing I do is swim, then have a party and take lots of pictures with my friends. It’s unforgettable. If you have time, you can stop by seafood market to buy seafood for your parents or you can drop by a souvenir store to buy souvenirs for your friends because it’s very cheap. You will have a wonderful time when you here. When I come here I feel very happy and relaxed. All the stress and worries go away with the laughter and fun I have here. I think I really enjoy this place. I’ll come here on my next

There comes a point in every person’s life where they meet that special someone and know instantly they are meant to be together. There is a special kind of chemistry that aligns all thoughts and feelings with one another and creates a bond that will forever tie you to that person. Contrary to that, there are certain people who we cannot stand and have absolutely zero physical, mental, and emotional attraction to. Using the information learned through my PSY 301 class along with various other online sources I will attempt to discuss the factors of attraction, the need for bond and relationships, and finally explain the three types of love.…

    Phnom Penh

I was born in Kampong Cham Province and I have moved to live in Phnom Penh since I finished my high school. When I first came here in Phnom Penh, I felt very surprise and scare. The building and people were far different from my hometown. I got around Phnom Penh by motorbike for a first few days. I saw many high rise buildings; especially the city's French colonial buildings were beautiful. I saw some different kind of transportation that running on the road such as: modern car, Motorbikes, Motorbike-taxis (motodops), Taxis were available at a few locations, Tuk-tuks, and Cyclos. There transportations were in the great amount if compared to my province and it sometimes caused a very serious traffic jam and accidents. I also went to the Royal Palace which no photography was allowed inside the Silver Pagoda and some of the Palace buildings. You were expected to dress decently (no bare legs or shoulders). Beside this, I went to Wat Phnom. I liked the park there. It was a pleasant green space and a popular gathering place for locals. A few monkeys kept quarters there as well and will helped themselves to any drinks you leave unattended. After that I went to Independence and Liberation memorials. Impressive Buddhist-style Independence Memorial, commemorating the departure of the French in 1953, dominated the centre of the city. Nearby was the very ugly Stalin-style Liberation Memorial, marking the Vietnamese capture of the city in 1979. The area was especially popular on weekend nights with locals when the multi-colored fountains were activated and communal music was played. I took several pictures there and got some rest. I also went to Sorya shopping center which located at the south of the Central Market. It's on a North-South Street on the west side. It is currently Phnom Penh's main Western-style mall. It is air-conditioned and contains a range of cheap fast-food outlets as well as a well-stocked supermarket named Lucky Supermarket. You can do…

There are many beaches in Vietnam, but I only have been to Nha Trang and Vung Tau, which are two famous beaches in my country. Even though both of them are wonderful places where people can relax on vacation, I prefer Nha Trang for three reasons. First of all, the sea view in Nha Trang is more beautiful. While Nha Trang has a blue sea, white sand, and a long range of coconut trees along the beaches, there are gray sea, yellow sand, and many rocks near by the beaches in Vung Tau. Furthermore, there are many small islands where there are many interesting things to discover nearby Nha Trang. Secondly, the food in Nha Trang is delicious. People can try many specialties of Nha Trang. There is also a lot of fresh seafood like squid, lobster, crabs, and clams. In contrast, there is no specialty in Vung Tau although it also has many kinds of seafood. In addition, eating in Nha Trang is less expensive than in Vung Tau. Finally, the atmosphere in Nha Trang is better than in Vung Tau. There is a place where people get oil from the sea, so the atmosphere in Vung Tau is more humid and drier, while in Nha Trang, the atmosphere is purer and less humid. Moreover, the distance from my city to Vung Tau is shorter, so it is a place that many people choose for their short vacation like on a weekend. In contrast, Nha Trang is in the middle part of the county, so people cannot go there in a short time. In brief, there are many differences and similarities between the two beaches, but I still prefer Nha Trang because of the sea view, the food specialties, and the atmosphere.…

Macau has developed its tourism sector when there was a rapid growth on the gaming industry since the 70s. However, there is no longer a comprehensive tourism planning at that time. It was until 1980s, the Portuguese government has tried to preserve the cultural influence over Macau after 1999. By preserving the mixture of Eastern and Western cultures in Macau, it paved the way for the development of cultural tourism in Macau. Nowadays, the development of cultural heritage tourism is significantly successful. The culture of Macau is not merely gaming but the East-West cultural pluralism. Its successfulness in preserving the cultural heritage can be clearly shown when Macao’s Heritage (“The Historic Centre of Macao”) has features on World Heritage List in 2005. This highly facilitated the development of Macau’s Cultural Heritage Tourism. In this report, the development and management of Macau’s cultural heritage tourism will be examined.…

The baroque castle is situated in a small village Moszna in a halfway between Krapkowice and Prudnik. The architectural construction came into being in the 17th century. Until 1900 the most remarkable part was built upon in the neo-gothic character. But also circa 1914, the neo-renaissance wing was attached. But what strikes me the most is that the edifice is surrounded by 200-hectare of mysterious park with its 300-year old oaks.…

The Empire State Building is without doubt one of the most impressive places I have ever been to. It is the most iconic landmark in New York City and the most famous office building in the country. With heights soaring up to 1,454 feet, the ESB was known as the tallest building in the world for more than 40 years. Located in the heart of Manhattan, this famous building features observatory decks on the 86th and 102nd floor offering visitors breathtaking panoramic views of New York City and beyond.…

Up to now, I still remember my fantastic holiday to Nha Trang city with my friends when I was in Vietnam. It was on the warmth of a summer day in August, 2009. After I graduated high school with a high graded, my parents gave me four days summer vacation with my friends. Hence, I searched some wonderful places on the internet and discussed with my friends about those places. Afterward, we decided to go to Nha Trang city that had a lot of beautiful beaches because a beach trip in the summer was always a good idea for us who lived far away from the sea. In the beginning, we left home at 5a.m because it took eight hours to go there. Along the street, we stopped three times for breakfast and lunch, so we arrived to Nha Trang at 3p.m. After we checked in two rooms at Angle hotel, we went to the nearest beach and looked for a store where we might hire a small boat to go squid fishing. When night fell down completely, we finally hired a boat and started going squid fishing. At that time, the surface of ocean was calm except there were some waves running up. Moreover, the cool wind covered my body when we were far from the seashore. While we were fishing, we suddenly heard someone yelled, "Help, help me!”. Thus, we looked around to determine where the sound came out. Over there, it took about a half mile to our boat; I saw something rising out of the surface. A woman was about to sink into the water. Immediately, my friend, Dat, jumped out of the boat and swam to the woman. When she was on the boat with us, she seemed exhausted and couldn’t speak any words. Therefore, we brought her to the hospital and tried to contact with her husband. After her husband came to the hospital and said thanks for our helping, we left the hospital and backed to our rooms. Although we canceled our squid fishing, we were very happy because of saving a person. The next day, we decided to visit Vinpearl Land in two days. It was located on Hon Tre Island, and it was the…
