• Problemas relativos al grupo primario:
El personaje de la película Una Mente Brillante Jhon Nash si presentaba muchos problemas en su núcleo familiar ya que debido a su estado patológico, lo cual le generaba no poder ser una persona funcional y normal en el ambiente familiar, un ejemplo de esto se refleja en el impedimento para cuidar a su hijo, su relación de pareja tan bien se mostraba disfuncional ya que no podía tener relaciones sexuales con su esposa, otro factor importante fue que debido a su incapacidad para trabajar no podía cubrir los gastos del hogar, todos estos factores crearon un ambiente muy tenso entre su núcleo familiar donde tanto él como su esposa se venia afectados por su enfermedad, otro factor importante seria los antecedentes genéticos entre la familia de John Nash sobre la esquizofrenia.

• Problemas relativos al ambiente social:
Jhon Nash presentaba mucha dificultad para relacionarse con las demás personas ya que al no tener mucho contacto con personas realmente era un fracaso con las mujeres con quienes intentaba tener algo, él no sabia como abordar a una mujer siempre era demasiado directo para sus cosas, lo cual le provoca rechazos de parte de las mujeres, al menos hasta antes de casarse.

    Both Michel De Montaigne and John Donne argue that the cultivation of the mind is linked to the well being of the body.
