Zombie Project Research Paper
The topic that I would like to address for my zombie project is a more efficient mode of transportation in order to survive a zombie apocalypse. In The Zombie Survival Guide, Max Brooks he explains different means of transportation but limits them to water or air travel. In an apocalypse, healthy surviving humans should not be restricted to their means of travel. In order to stay alive, an adequate form of transportation is a necessity. Walking is too dangerous and slow, while a standard car purposes many different problems. A solar powered or a hydrogen fuel cell car are optimum modes of transportation during a zombie apocalypse. Traveling by car allows for quick transportation allowing humans to survive longer in a zombie filled post apocalyptic world. A car can be used a storage for personal items and food or as a safe shelter if stranded. A car can act as a weapon while driving, which was exemplified in The Dawn of the Dead. A car is a basic necessity for life, although, a car powered by gas will not last long in a post apocalyptic setting. In result of a zombie outbreak, governmental and societal breakdown are inevitable. Money will be useless and I believe that we …show more content…
Fossil fuels are finite and will not be produce in a post apocalyptic setting. A water powered car could be logical, although, water is also a finite source and any amount found in a zombie apocalypse should be sanitized and stored for drinking. There are so many unforeseeable events during an apocalypse, but it is certain that the sun will rise every morning and that hydrogen and oxygen will be present in the air. Using a solar powered or hydrogen fuel cell car would ensure a constant mode of transportation, shelter, storage unit, and emergency weapon. I would like to explore the different uses, functions, and benefits that these two cars present in a post apocalyptic

We need to get rid of or stop zombie flies because we need bees to grow our food easier. First “When a female zombie fly lands on a honey bee she injects fly eggs into it.” This is saying that the fly injects the eggs into the bee. Next,”Soon after the larvae hatch within the bee and feed on its insides.” Doing so the larvae kill the bee. Finally, “When the larvae are ready they burst out of the bees body.” This is saying that the bee is really dead. Therefore, we need to stop or get rid of zombie flies because we need bees to help us grow crops…

It is evident that the recent outbreak of the z-virus that is sweeping across the Asian continent has created a zombie epidemic that has claimed many human lives and continues to spread rapidly. The number of those affected by the virus is currently in the thousands and continues to grow by the hour. If left unchecked, this epidemic could spread across the ocean and into our territories within days. Seeing how fast the disease spreads and how catastrophic it could become if it were to enter the U.S., we need to take prompt and decisive actions to halt the virus on its path of destruction. Thus, it is imperative that the president of the United States orders our borders to be shut down, avoid any cooperation…

I looked to my left then to my right, it was dark all around, except for the light emanating from the flashlight mounted on my gun. I cradled my assault rifle, it was my lifeline, if it was gone, I was dead, or worse... Alive. I heard a shriek, not from a human, but from a zombie...... I looked down the alleyway ahead it was fully dark now, I heard running footsteps behind me. I turned around as fast as I could. A blood covered zombie was running toward me, I was scared for my life. I chopped the zombie down with my rifle, the muzzle flashes lighting up the ally. Suddenly I heard the blood curdling cries of many zombie- oh no, I made to much noise. Now they were pouring in from the street into the alleyway I was in. Around forty of them were coming towards me, I turned around to try to escape.. at least five more in that direction. i sprayed the five zombies down with my gun, pulled the pin on a grenade, dropped it, and sprinted in that direction. I made it onto the street.…

First, driving ruins the environment. For an automobile to function, it requires gas, and when the gas is used up, it becomes carbon dioxide that traps heat near the Earth’s surface. Greenhouses gases are necessary for influencing the amount of the sun’s energy being absorbed into earth and being radiated back into space. However, the overload of the greenhouse gases, which is caused by the increase in gas emissions, can cause the earth surface to heat up. This is called global warming which will raise the sea level by 18 to 59 centimeters if all the glaciers melt. This change in ecosystems and destruction in habitats caused by the rising sea level will also result in the extinctions of many species. Since cars release greenhouse gases, walking is therefore a better choice because it won’t exacerbate the tragedy of global warming.…

The movie that I watched was Plan 9 From Outer Space. The idea behind it is that aliens come to Earth to prevent the humans from creating a doomsday weapon, which would blow up the universe, by using zombies to cause chaos so the humans are not able to develop the solarbonite bomb. Three main culture topics the movie brings up are aliens, nuclear warfare, and the space race.…

Forget what you remember about your slow, shambling, rotting, flesh-eating corpses, also known as zombies. What used to be bland, boring, and not that scary are now taking the place of the “sparkly love-struck vampire” and the hugely terrifying beast of a werewolf. Thus evolving in pop culture. Zombies, from the standards that we remembered were these slow, staggering and moaning undead that could not run or jump, they could not open doors nor did they have any sense of self-awareness. But through the years these standards have changed and modified and we are left with a whole new line of zombies, many of them very dangerous. In the event of a Zombie Apocalypse one of the first things we would need to know is what type of zombie we are dealing with, your typical slow moving Romero Zombies, the more dangerous, scary, and fast Berserkers, or the “new” Self-Aware Zombie.…

Cars are a fantastic invention. They make our lives more carefree by getting us from place to place quickly while abolishing the need for legs altogether. Instead of walking that 3 blocks to McDonalds, why not drive there? You get there faster and you can eat sooner. Driving has a lot of benefits. But driving also takes a lot of fuel, and everyone knows that fuel for cars isn’t the cheapest of resources.…

One way science can play a role in deciding if there will be a future zombie apocalypse, Wheeler states “there was a bad time coming, possibly a terminally bad time. All of which at least goes to show that the apocalypse can flourish on its own, quite independently of millennia. In some form or another terrors and apprehensions can threaten us at any time. The possibility…

The day starts like every other day does. The sun shining, birds chirping, but something will not feel right. People start to limp instead of walk, they are no longer talking, just moaning and groaning, and everyone reeks of rotting flesh and meat. The only problem with zombies is they are not who they once were; they are now creatures who walk around trying to eat anything living. Plenty of movies are created on the idea that everyone either gets their brains eaten or turned into zombies. Yes, most people think that a zombie apocalypse may not ever happen, but there is still a chance an apocalypse can happen. Just because people die in the movies does not mean people cannot survive in real life. Knowing the zombie apocalypse may happen one day, the three most important rules to remember are being prepared, maintaining protection, and staying aware.…

Today around forty percent of the “Baby Boomers” represent the car buying community. Now Hyundai is providing customers with demographics on the television including the popular TV series, “The Walking Dead.” Many fans of this series see that the Hyundai Tuscon (kiwi green) is in this television show. This then increases the customer’s incentive to want to go out and purchase the vehicle, because it is in their favorite TV series. This theory of utilizing the Hyundai Tuscon in “The Walking Dead” represents a B2C (business to consumer) act. Another idea that Hyundai and “The Walking Dead” came up with, was creating a documentary to “fully surround this fan and this passion with our brand and the franchise.”…

Are we all zombies to society? We go through the same motions every day we all wake up at six in the morning and go to work until five in the afternoon. People are zombies to society and don’t realize they are zombies until they are able to separate themselves from society and enter isolation like the woods or pure nature. People are able to reach enlightenment in nature and realize what is right for them and how they can change their part in society and make a difference. People are able to separate themselves from society where they are zombies and be able to reach enlightenment.…

In the case of a zombie apocalypse, I would pack canned food, a flashlight, a water bottle, a knife, and a sleeping bag. To evade the zombies, I would hide in the gym and barricade the doors. This way, there is only one entrance and I can see the zombies when they attempt to enter. I would use the things I packed to survive in the school for about three days. When supplies run out, I will scout around school and loot the vending machines, cafeteria, and classrooms for food, drink, and batteries. Over time, I would increase my base's size and check for survivors. This way I have a team that can split up and cover more ground for when we scout. Once I have established a secure hideout, I might take my chances and explore the rest of town to see…
