Zillow
Zillow Group is an online real estate database company that was founded in 2005 and created by Rich Barton and Lloyd Frink, former Microsoft executives and founders of Microsoft spin-off Expedia. Spencer Rascoff is the current CEO of Zillow, Inc. Zillow is a home and real estate marketplace dedicated to helping homeowners, home buyers, sellers, renters, real estate agents, mortgage professionals, landlords and property managers find and share vital information about homes, real estate, mortgages and home improvement.
Zillow Group houses a portfolio of the largest and most vibrant real estate and home-related brands on the Web and mobile.
Zillow serves the full lifecycle of owning and living in a home: buying, selling, renting, financing, remodelling and more. It starts with Zillow’s living database of more than 110 million U.S. homes – including homes for sale, homes for rent and homes not currently on the market, as well as Zestimate home values, Rent Zestimates and other home-related information. Zillow operates the most popular suite of mobile real estate apps, with more than two dozen apps across all major platforms.
Zillow has data on 110 million homes across the United States, not just those homes currently for sale. In addition to giving value estimates of homes, it offers several features including value changes of each home in a given time frame (such as one, five, or 10 years), aerial views of homes, and prices of comparable homes in the area. Where it can access appropriate public data, it also provides basic information on a given home, such as square footage and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. Users can also get current estimates of homes if there was a significant change made, such as a recently remodelled kitchen. Zillow provides an application programming interface (API) and developer support network
The Zillow data team has created a database of nearly 7,000 neighbourhood boundaries in the largest cities in the U.S. and made them available via Creative Commons Attribute-Share alike license.

Zillow informs everyone about the state of the real estate market and its current inventory.
The site has many focuses.
One is that is provides opportunities for potential buyers to search property inventory.
The site provides information on mortgage rates and also information about local area markets.
A feature I love about this site is the "advice" forum. I have learned a lot reading questions and answers.
Site is very easy to navigate because it is mostly visual.
It is a place where one can give and receive just about anything concerning the marketing of properties.
Zillow is free for users.

During last week’s research, three testable outcomes were identified: the value will increase if the home is closer to the city, the value will decrease if the home is closer to the city, or there is no direct correlation. Team B hypothesizes that if a property is closer to the city, the value will be higher. It has been determined that the median, mean, minimum, and maximum values should be assessed and examined to determine if this hypothesis is accurate. Team B will be using the mean home prices in group one and two to determine if there is a significant difference in home prices for homes less than 15 miles from the city compared to those equal to or greater than 15 miles from the center of the city. Based on the possible testable outcomes, Team B will use the Null Hypothesis and Alternate hypothesis with the mean prices in group one denoted as µH1 and mean home prices in group two denoted as µH2.…
