When I was younger my brother went to a friends house and they tought him how to ride a ripstick. A ripstick is like a two wheeled skateboard.

Once he got home he told me all about it and told me I should get one. I had more money than him and I still did not have enough money to buy one. I wanted a small one. They were about fifty dollars, but the big ones is what he wanted me to get and they were sevendy dollars. At the time i had around twenty dollars and he had five dollars. I asked my mom if she had any chores for me and she said that i could do the dishes, take out the trash, and dust for five dollars, so i did it and got the money. Then she said i could mow, edge, and blow for twenty five

The first thing he taught me was how to do was how to cut the grass. I know that learning how to cut grass may be a silly thing to teach someone to do, but you wouldn't believe that not everyone knows how to do it. It was always a certain way he wanted it done, rather it be high and thick or short and thin,it had to be cut the same way every time. I didn't understand why but, if it wasn’t cut the same way throughout the front and back yard, he would make me redo it all. That's almost 2-3 hours of cutting just grass, and it’s tiring work. I had fun making those simple mistakes just so I can spend a little more time with him, I would say it was worth it .In all I wouldn't say what he did was…

It was a warm February day in the year of 2007. I had invited my best friend Fisher to ride the bus home with me so we could ride our brand new rip-sticks together. Our whole day was dedicated to make memories by doing what we usually do, do stupid things. Our first two hours together consisted of first person shooter games, but we soon grew too bored and decided to spend the rest of our time riding our rip-sticks. We rode through the neighborhood looking for basic slopes to get the basics down before we put our lives on the line by riding down the steep ones. As we got more comfortable riding, we began to scout my neighborhood for the biggest hills we could find. I wasn’t all for the idea because I had just started baseball season the week before, so I denied every request that Fisher asked to ride down the hill. Hill after hill, Fisher began to get tired of me backing out every time.…

It was a nice and sunny day, I was about five years old and my dad wanted to teach me how to ride a bike. I was very scared and really nervous. I got my first bike on Christmas, it was orange and black and the wheels had big spirals on them. At first they had training wheels because I was just getting started. It was pretty simple riding with training wheels because it was easier to balance and I didn’t feel like I was going to fall off of the bike.…

As I was getting ready to leave for college, my dad asked me if I wanted a bike. I thought he was joking, so I just looked at him and laughed. Where I am from, riding bikes to school is not really cool, and what I really wanted was a car. When I told him that, he just laughed at me. He tried to tell me that a bike would be better than a car, but I was not trying to hear that. I told him I would rather walk than ride a bike to class every day.…
