Have you ever seen a random unidentifiable thing in the air? What about a saucer shaped aircraft? These things can be grouped as UFOs or unidentified flying objects. UFOs are thought to be carrying extraterrestrial life. UFOs are a major subject of interest because of how they look, famous sightings, and possible explanations.
UFOs come in all shapes and sizes. Some that are reported even are said to have an invisible look to them. One of the most famous happened in 1947. A man named Kenneth Arnold reported seeing about nine very fast objects in the air. He saw them in Washington close to Mount Rainier. Arnold stated that they looked “like saucers skipping on water”. The same year in New Mexico an apparent UFO crashed near a ranch. Alien pilots were allegedly found in the aircraft. A more recent sighting was in 2012 on a video. It was taken on a plane that was going over South Korea. UFO sightings, as you can see, are very interesting and can raise a lot of question.
The last main reason that UFOs are such a popular subject is for the possible explanations about them. Whether you believe in UFOs or not some of the pictures and videos can be very convincing.
