In a world where disease, famine, religious and civil wars, violations of human rights, and ethnic cleansing are constant, is it bonkers to think that all of humanity’s hysteria is controlled by one group? A group so powerful and potent, that Greek gods would be jealous. A group so manipulative and mysterious, that most of the human race is unaware of their competence. A group that knows the world as nothing more than an international playground; they make the rules and they’re taking full advantage of it. Many people experience significant difficulty swallowing the fact that a secret society, the Illuminati, is controlling the world.…

Supernatural as defined by dictionary.com as being above or beyond what is natural, explainable by natural law or phenomena. The supernatural influence in Macbeth is evident throughout the play. On March 16, 1988, Saddam Hussein launched an attack on people in his own country. 5,000 Kurds were dead, and 7,000 were either injured or had long-term illnesses. The attack was in Iraq's city of Halabja and President Hussein only attacked because the Kurds did not support him, and he was retaliating. This ruthless destruction of innocent people proves that still in the world today there are people who are greedy, have ruthless ambition, and do not care how many lives they destroy, only if they can end up on top. In the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare, the main character was described as a greedy, heartless, and ambitious individual who was swayed into evil and let his ambition take control of his life. Even thought that Macbeth was written over 400 years ago, people today such as Martha Stewart, Jeff Skilling, and Saddam Hussein compare with the character Macbeth in many ways.…

Why Lady Macbeth should appear weak when Macbeth is the one to blame for being guilty? Feminism and the breaking of some stereotypes are the major themes in Shakespeare’s play, Macbeth, as shown primarily through the character of Lady Macbeth. At first she is shown as a brave woman who is against the stereotypes and tries to access some male characteristics by forcing Macbeth to kill King Duncan, yet she hesitates in killing him herself, which reveals her innate weakness as a woman. After the death of Duncan, she feels a strong guilt over the murder of her husband’s victims which makes her sick and she becomes psychotic. Lastly, she reveals her inferior nature as a woman by committing suicide…

Superstitions can make people do crazy things. In the tragic playMacbeth, by William Shakespeare, superstitions play a great role. In the play there are three witches that supposingly can predict the future and have some great power. Macbeth and many others put much faith into what they have to say. Many would plan their actions solely on what the witches predict. These days that kind of thing really does not happen. Most people plan their actions based on what they want. In Macbeth's time most people relied on superstitions as a way of life, but these days most people do not.…

In William Shakespeare’s Macbeth; Many people throughout the play attempt to manipulate others in order to fit their own needs and desires. prime example of this is with Lady Macbeth. She uses her influence with her husband to convince to murder King Duncan. A second, and major, example of manipulation in Macbeth is with the three witches. They give the prophecy to Macbeth, knowing that he and his wife will plan to murder King Duncan in order to fulfill it. The play encounters influence and manipulation from Lady Macbeth and the three weird sisters. Do to those characters questions begin to stir up. Such as who was the cause for everything Macbeth did? Would there be a play without neither of the characters? In opinion there would not be a play without neither of Lady Macbeth or the three witches. Thus, stating that Macbeth would have never became a Tyrant.…

The article The Curse of the Play was an insightful and enjoyable read. The main focus of this article was on the play “Macbeth” and how it is supposedly cursed. The curse allegedly ranges from dramatic events happening during the production of the play, to just the superstition of saying the title of the play in any theatre. For instance, multiple people have died suddenly during dress rehearsals, showings, and just general association. “Hal Berrige was to play Lady Macbeth at the play's opening act.”, but he never made it to the stage. (Faires Par 2) Hal passed away from a deadly fever. Much like throwing a pinch of salt over one's shoulder, if an individual says the forbidden title inside a theatre and wants to rid himself of the negativity swarming upon them, they must choose…

Macbeth relate to our society by him being told that he was going to become King. So he went and killed anyone that was getting in the way of that goal and basically went mad. In Shakespeare’s play, The tragedy of Macbeth, the character Macbeth develops profoundly from the first act till the end, and his change is driven by his wife and her ideal of manliness, described in Jerold Ramsey’s article “The Perversion of Manliness in Macbeth”. Macbeth begins as a respected and honest soldier in Act 1, but he is changed following his murdering of the innocent king in Act 2. Through Acts 3 and 4 Macbeth continues to become less and less of a moral character due to his committing of even more murders. In Act 5 Macbeth is finally lost touch with his humanity and meets his demise. This development of Macbeth from a honorable and moral noble to a wicked king was set in motion by Lady Macbeth , who planned the murderer of Duncan, undermined Macbeth’s manliness, and mocked his humanity, led to the downfall of Macbeth as a good person.…
