Workplace Diversity Paper
Working with many difference cultures can be a great learning experience for us in our practice. Workplace diversity allows nurses with differences and similarities to share their knowledge and skills to meet the goals of their organization (Andrews & Boyle, 2016). In my practice I have worked with nurses from many different cultures. This experience has given me different perspectives and offered other options for problem solving. It has definitely had a positive effect on my nursing practice. When patients see this collaborative work environment, that builds their trust in the care they are receiving. Especially, if the patient is from a different culture.

    When you go to work, you clock in, and you go about doing your job. You converse with your coworkers. You go to lunch with your co-workers. You even talk about what each of you is going to do on the weekend. This is a normal routine for you and for most people. Well, for some people, it is not.
