Wlf Executive Team Case Study
I believe I would be able to bring new and creative things to the WWF Carleton executive team. I am a proactive individual with excellent communication skills who pays attention to detail. I am involved with a variety of Carleton campus clubs such as Free the Children or Mental Health Champions which helps me to not only gain experience with different initiatives but create connections around campus. I also had the chance to practice a leadership role as the president of my high school’s Free the Children club. I would also have experience to bring to the table from working as Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre’s Youth Volunteer Coordinator planning, promoting and running events as well as recruiting and supervising volunteers. The adroitness of Costco’s Executive Leadership Team and Warehouse Managers to effectively execute their strategy has enabled Costco to adeptly balance driving Managerial Financial Accounting metrics, while their executives simultaneously woo investors by focusing Financial Accounting metrics (Berman, 2014). Therefore, Costco’s Warehouse and Department Managers are responsible for driving sales and profitability by focusing on their team members’ performance and development, ensuring the store is merchandised appropriately, inventory is tracked, protected, and replenished, and customers have an exceptional shopping experience. Subsequently, mangers constantly review department and warehouse profit and loss statements, customer experience survey results, labor and overhead cost as a percent of sales, annual sales per square foot, annual profit per employee, and annual employee attrition (Edmonds & Olds & Tsay, 2008). As a result, managers have become proficient at accurately assessing…

I should be a member of Florida Leadership Academy because I am a driven person who wants to break down the barriers that others have placed. Almost two years ago, I finally received that news I have hoping to receive for years, I was going to be a United States Senate Page. To most people who hear the title of the position, most people have a preconceived notion that my parents contacted a couple of people to help me out, but that was not the case. Before I received the news, I had spent three years calling people in Washington, D.C. trying to convince them that I was the best candidate for the position. Most of the time, they would often say that I had no chance since my parents were apolitical and that the Senator does not normally select students for program. Knowing that the odds were against me, I still proceeded to email the Senator’s staff every month reminding them who I was and to not overlook me when decisions were made. At certain points, I felt I was fighting a nonexistent fight, but with the drive I had, I persevered onward and was fortunate enough to have been appointed to serve the United States Senate an honor very few students had, especially with my background.…

In the beginning of the semester our Team Leadership class was presented with the task to help make an organization’s team more effective. We had the freedom to choose who our desired organization could be and to observe them. After much thought and consideration, we chose to observe the Association of Information Technology Professionals, more commonly known as AITP. Our goal for this semester was to observe the AITP group and evaluate our findings to help them become more effective as a team. We would present our findings in a workshop setting, which would in turn, help them see areas where they can improve on.…

I’ve decided to run for the LIA leadership team because I have seen the impact that the leaders this year left behind and I aspire to do the same. Latinos in Action has taught me many things including on how to work well with others and that there isn’t a dead end for undocumented students, like myself, after high school. Every time I step in the Lia classroom I feel like I’m part of the community and that I belong. As a member of LIA I hope that I can get the chance to become a leader. A leader should possess initiative, honesty, commitment, and many other attributes. I have initiative because during Junior high I was not encouraged by my family or others to join groups but seeing the impact that LIA has, I decided that I wanted to make a…
