Winter Break Goals
Winter Break Goals As winter break slowly comes closer, I have some things to look forward to. 92% of people don’t achieve their winter goals, but 8% of people do. Maybe because people don’t stick to their word? Maybe because people are just lazy? But this winter break I will try my best to look forward to seeing my family, sleeping in, and getting in shape for wrestling season. This Christmas, I plan to sleep in. I hardly ever get any sleep at all. I get to sleep with my cats longer, And finally, I won’t be as tired throughout the day as I normally am. All in all, sleep is good for you, without it, you’d be insane. I also look forward to seeing my family. I only get to see them two or three times a year. Family has came first for me since

Science has proven that sleep is one of the most essential things needed to keep the average individual healthy and stable. Without the “healing” powers of sleep, our minds and our bodies can be easily affected because of the constant feeling of fatigue. The human body thrives on the energy that sleep ensues in our bodies every night. While the average individual is to sleep approximately eight hours a night, realistically speaking, getting that much sleep on a regular basis is something to strive for. And while the amount of sleep we get per night might waver around the average, sleep deprivation is a far cry from being sluggish the next morning. It has been proven the lack of…

Studying my sleep habits this week has been a an eye opener. I learned so much about my body in the last seven days. I learned that I responded better to waking up to an alarm, then someone coming in my room to wake me up. On an average, I got about seven hours of sleep a day. I was able to sleep more on days I did not have to workout for football. A trend I noticed is that I felt better in the morning, if I went to bed before 11:00 pm. Another trend I learned is I fall asleep faster when I took my socks off. I wasn't able to go to sleep due to the lack of comfort of the socks on my feet . I slept a lot better when I turned off the lights and played music. I didn't sleep well with a lot of clothes on. I found myself waking…

To start off with, the summer of 2012 was about the time I got to spend with family. I went to Disney World with my Mom-Mom, Pop-Pop, two aunts and two uncles, all of their children, my siblings and niece. Majority of these family members are ones that I never get the chance to see, because they live in Philadelphia. In the past year I have not got to see this side of my family not once, this makes me really appreciate the time that I do get to spend with them. While at Disney World with my family we…

I enjoy catching up and talking with loved ones that I haven’t seen in a while. Just sitting around and watching a new movie with the family or even simply to relax. I am so blessed to have such a great family.…
