Why We Should Abortion Be Illegal
Abortion has been a debatable topic for decades now. Many people believe abortion should be legal; however, many people also believe it should not be legal. Should abortion be legal or illegal?
Many believe abortion should be legal. According to Womens Issues expert, Linda Lowen, she states “a woman should have control of her body. If the government can force a woman to continue a pregnancy, what about forcing a woman to use a contraception or undergo sterilization?” She makes this valid point to show the double standards between what women should have the right to do and what the world says is appropriate for a woman. Secondly, many have realized that abortion is not used as a form of contraception. Abortion supporter addresses “Only eight

This statement is a fairly strong one however when one looks up the Oxford dictionary for both words, are they related? Abortion is the deliberate termination of a pregnancy and murder is the intentional killing of a human life whether an adult or a child. If the child is in the womb for seven months (the later development stage) or 2 to 3 weeks (the early development stage) it is still murder making the statement ‘Abortion is murder’ true. Numerous amount of people (if not, many) know someone that has considered abortion. It is something that has become very popular today due to technology advancement. Abortion is the deliberate termination of a pregnancy. Because of that, I believe abortion is wrong because someone is willingly and knowingly killing a child that is in one’s womb. The child you killed will never get to experience the world because it never had the chance to. You might feel guilty of relieved that you do not have to experience motherhood at unwanted time, but one day near or far the fact that you never saw that child and never knew what they were like will hurt you. Some people might be opposed to the conception that abortion is wrong because they believe it's…

While some believe that these regulations are completely reasonable and should be made mandatory, others see it quite differently. ● Some arguments for HB2 are that abortions are dangerous and should be done only with the proper help close and on standby, but in today’s time, an abortion is no more dangerous than a colonoscopy, a procedure usually done outside of a hospital or surgical center (“Supreme Court Strikes Down Abortion Restrictions in Texas,” 2016). ● One reason that so many individuals find these restrictions to be unnecessary is that a good portion of abortions are done pharmaceutically, not through any sort of invasive procedure (“Abortion; The World Book Encyclopedia,” 2004). ● The fact that an abortion could realistically be no more than swallowing a pill and being observed for adverse reactions, makes enforcing such strict laws on these clinics absolute overkill (“Abortion; The World Book Encyclopedia,” 2004).…

    Why Abortion Is Immoral

Why Abortion Is Immoral was written by Don Marquis. His thesis is described in the title. He started off by establishing some historical facts about abortion. According him there were no laws prohibiting abortion in the United States until well into the 19th century. By the 20th century every state passed laws to prohibit it. In 1973 in the case Roe vs. Wade, the Supreme Court ruled that the laws outlawing abortion violated women’s rights to privacy. He then implies that the legal status of abortion could possibly change in the near future. Marquis believes that the crucial moral question about abortion is “Do we have the same reasons not to kill a fetus that we have not to kill an adult?” He believes it’s wrong because it deprives them of their future. According to Marquis, abortion is seriously immoral with rare exceptions.…

Imagine this scenario in your head as if it were real life. It’s the late 1930’s. You’re in the middle of Nazi Germany in a nearby concentration camp. Hundreds of bodies lay in a hole dug by Nazi soldiers. Some are dead, some alive. You’re in a bulldozer, with a gun pointed to your head. A Nazi soldier tells you that if you do not burry these innocent Jews, then he will shoot you and he will find someone else who will. Again, you must BURY these people ALIVE. What do you do? Some might say- “I could never! I would take the bullet, I don’t want to be responsible for the death of these people.” Others might argue and say that they would drive the bulldozer forward. Why? Well if you don’t, someone else will anyway.…
