Why Is It Important To Have Gum In School Essay
“Many students stress during class for many reasons such as, too much homework, not understanding the lesson but chewing mint gum helps your brain relax and to not stress as easily.” (Dr. Kenneth) It’s a scientifically proven that gum helps you focus and it also helps your memory increase. All teachers should want their students to succeed and some kids won't always fully get the concept that they learn but the easiest way for them to get it is for them to chew gum during school. This can help them focus instead of talking to their fellow peers and goofing off during class.

Mint gum can help your mind be more alert which can help tiredness. Tiredness is a huge problem in schools because most kids go to bed tired from lots of homework or maybe they’re so stressed out and they can’t go to sleep. And the thing about that is it could really prevent kids getting into trouble.

“Teachers don't want to be answering questions from students if they have horrible breath” (Mr. Vaughan). Many kids have really bad breath because they don't have time to brush their teeth in the mornings possibly because they are to rushed. Chewing gum can make the breath nice and fresh and minty.

The schools that allow gum has a 5% better test scores than schools that don't allow gum. On the other hand schools that are against chewing gum in school are way less academically successful. This is scientific evidence that chewing gum schools should be allowed. All the time that teachers put into their students and really want their students to be successful, the percent of students that are focused, successful and well behaved if they can chew gum in
