Why Is Hockey Important As A Leader
Being an active player in the OMHA for just over ten years now, has allowed me to appreciate and take great pride in the game of hockey. Not only have I been educated in the sport, but have also been taught essential values that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Time management is a skill that all hockey players require; from attending practice on time, to balancing the timely sport with schoolwork, it is undoubtedly beneficial. As the assistant captain, my mission is to build chemistry within our team by encouraging new players to bond with the entire lineup. Similarly, I must lead by example for all other team members to follow. Overall, I strongly believe that playing hockey has enriched my quality as a leader today and in the future.
