Why Identity Is Important To Me
When we think identity, we think of personal appearance, how we talk and act, and how we relate to other people, but no one thinks of the identity within. Identity isn't just physical, it is mental, spiritual, and our goals we wish to obtain. There are questions we can ask ourselves to find our true internal identity, like, who am I, what do I value, what influences me, who do I wish to be, where am I going in life, will help find each of the questions can be used to find our true identity. First, I am Brenden Ray Negrette, the most perfect image of myself. Spiritually, I am of christian faith and that also defines who I am. I am of hispanic decent with a little German and Native American as well. I am a college student at Georgia Southern …show more content…
I value myself, because if I did not value myself, then who would. It is the same for valuing others. Everyone deserves to be valued and everyone has a roll on earth, so if I value others, then others will value me. It is the concept of treating others how you want to be treated, and it works in the end. Third, I am influenced by the people around me. This includes my family and friends in everyday life. My father influenced my career path in the business field. My grandfather influenced my great self confidence. My grandmother influenced my organization skills. My mother influenced my financial skills and my ability to take care of myself. My big sister influenced how I study and the importance of school. My little siblings have influenced me to have fun sometimes, instead of always being serious. These are what influences me in life. Fourth, In my career I would like to be a Certified Personal Accountant. With this career, I would help my clients make the best financial choices for them, including, how much to spend, how much to invest, how much to pay in taxes, when to liquidate investments, and perform account management. In life, I would like to be a father of two or three children, no matter the gender and give them the same my parents did for me, if not more. These are my aspirations for who I would like to
