Why Do People Go Through Poverty?
Health, age, and low-wage workers is some traits why people might be going through poverty. For example, "Much poverty -- in particular among the elderly, the disabled, and low-wage workers-- could be eliminated with better government policies." jobs only accept "young and healthy" people with well paid paychecks and leave out the elderly and the diabled with low-wage jobs leading to poverty.

    Individualistic explanations of poverty is split into three subcategories: genetic inferiority, individual characteristics, influential theory/ human capital theory.
