Who Is Steven Spielberg A Hero
A Man with a Dream
“A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.” - Colin Powell. This quote goes greatly with Steven Spielberg’s life and career. He didn’t have much to start off with but in the end he didn’t let that get to him and he didn’t want to fail. He was determined to finish his dream and that is what he did! Spielberg was born on December 18, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio. His mother Leah Adler was a concert pianist and his father, Arnold Spielberg, was an electrical engineer. Steven was the oldest of four children. His first sister was named Nancy, his second sister was named Anne, and his third sister was named Sue (DIScovering 2). The Spielberg’s moved often because of their father’s job which made it hard for Steven to find friends (St. James 1). As a child, Steven would film small movies, family vacations, and birthdays with his sisters and parents on his dad’s 8mm camera (American 1). ADD DETAILS ABOUT HIS CHILDHOOD FILMS. Spielberg is not selfish and is willing to donate his hard earned money to people less fortunate than him. He is willing to donate his valuable time when he could be doing other things to help people out. Most people aren't willing to give out their money to help others that do not have as much money. When people think of Steven Spielberg they think of the movies he produced and created. But what they don't know or see is a man with a big heart that is willing to go out of his way to help others.
