Though that didn't stop him from working towards scholarships that were earned through his work on the team, and what he couldn't achieve through sports his father supported with his wallet. As long as he kept his grade's up he was home free, a life that was pretty breezy.

Cronus had swerved his attention towards Kankri. His attention drawn to him, a little jealous of his determination with his school work. He never really knew Kankri that well but he shared a class or two with him, he always made pretty high grades. It made Cronus admire him, not to mention have a small crush on him.
"Isn't he gay or something?" The guy we'll name Paul piped in, before pausing in thought as everyone looked. As if they looked long enough they would be able to tell. " I just had the greatest idea, Cronus you should totally ask him out.."
"W-what?" Cronus jerked his head away from Kankri to look at the guy rather confused. Really he hadn't been paying attention too strongly to his friend.
"You know nothing real, just I heard he was gay. I bet he'd probably cream himself just by you talking to him. Come on it's all in good fun. You go on a date with him, and ditch him.
